It is a characterful property with six bedrooms and is perfect for a large group of friends or family offering a convenient and comfortable place for a holiday or a short stay. Maison Bear has everything you need to relax and enjoy a holiday to remember. Children have the space to play in the garden while adults can find a spot to relax.

The nearest large super markets are 15 minutes away in Vire.
There are many wonderful places to discover in this area of Normandy including zoos, towns, nature walks, kayaking on the river Vire, historical towns, sandy beaches and museums. Saint sever Forest, Vire, Saint Lo and the River Vire with its art installations are all close by. Mont Saint Michel is reached in 60 minutes and is a UNESCO heritage site. Bayeux and the D-Day beaches are reached in an hour.
Many beautiful beaches are reached in 50 minutes. In Granville you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, beaches and Christian Dior’s home to explore. Iles Chausey is a boat ride from here and has many sites to explore. Eating moules (mussel) from the beds in the bay is a must for fish lovers.
Villedieu-les-Poeles, famous for its bell foundry and copper pans, is 21 km away
For families- all within an hour’s drive you have Champrepus Zoo, Alligator Bay and the Souleuvre Viaduct with its zip wire, bungee jump and toboggan ride. Swimming, kayaking, horseback riding and horseback riding are also available locally.

There is a downstairs toilet but all bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first and second floor.
The house is not accessible to wheelchairs and please note there are stairs in the property.
Maison Bear is a spacious house with high ceilings and tall windows.
Its rooms are over 3 floors and offer comfortable spacious accommodation for its guests.
There is a well equipped kitchen that leads onto the elegant dining room that has plenty of space to enjoy meals together.
The salon has a smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating for you to relax in and chat together. There is also a pool table at one end of the room and patio doors that open onto the terrace at the other.

First Floor
The triple room has a king size bed, a single bed, lots of wardrobe space, a seating area and has a view of the front garden.
The single room has a view of the rear garden and both share a bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate WC
The large double room has a large kingsize bed, seating area and view of the front garden.
The twin room has a view of the rear garden and they share a bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate WC

Second Floor
The double bedroom has a double bed, open wardrobe and a view over the front garden.
The large double bedroom has a double bed, desk/dressing table, open wardrobe and a seating area. The seating area has a day bed that can be made into 2 single beds. It has a view of the rear garden.
There are two bathrooms, one has a bath with a shower attachment and the other a shower cubicle.

Outside, there is a terrace with a table and chairs for ‘al fresco’ dining and a small patio area with a dining space. The garden is mature and enclosed. The garden is enclosed and there is plenty of space to play, relax and eat in.

There is parking space available at the rear of the property and you can park on the road at the front.

A gas BBQ has been provided.

PROPERTY SUITABILITY:
The house can accommodate 14 people. A cot is available and babies are welcome. Please be aware that there is no stair gate due to the width of the staircase.
The house is not wheelchair accessible and please note that there are stairs and steps in the property.
Dogs are allowed in the house for an extra charge.
The house is no-smoking, however, smoking is allowed outside on the terrace and in the garden.
