The Stag’s Wallow is a luxury lodge offering stunning accommodation ideally suited for two adults. The lodge is positioned in a beautiful setting where you have views of the undisturbed countryside leaving you feeling relaxed in this peaceful environment.
You may even be lucky enough to have the resident red deer saying hello just the other side of the garden fence.
Inside the lodge there is a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge (with freezer compartment), electric hob, and oven. The kitchen is open plan to a dining area and living room which offers comfortable seating and TV, and there are large patio doors and windows so you can continue to enjoy the views from inside. The lodge has a double bedroom (king size bed) and a shower room, the overall feeling of The Stag’s Wallow is light and airy with high ceilings, light finishes, and minimalistic furnishings.
There is a decked area with bistro set which makes the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink watching the sunset, there is a generous amount of lawn for your furry friend to run around on, plus the added bonus of a woodfired hot tub to relax in after your fun days exploring.
The location is excellent, set within the landscape of Ashbourne, one of the Peak Districts most visited towns, there is so much on offer here from scenic walks on the Tissington Trail, the famous Dovedale Stepping Stones where you can also venture up Thorpe Cloud and take in the amazing views or if you wish to get the adrenaline pumping Alton Towers theme park is a 35 minute drive. Carsington Water is also nearby which offers many water sports activities, bird watching as well as having an 8-mile loop around the reservoir which is bike friendly too. Return back to The Stag’s Wallow and know you have a warm and comfortable base and just a short walk down the road is a lovely pub serving a varied menu with a lovely garden and electric vehicle charging.
