The hot tub must not be used after 10.30pm. . The Brackens Annexe is a delightful, detached two-storey accommodation set in the serene countryside of Manley, near Frodsham. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this peaceful retreat offers far-reaching views of rolling fields from two south-facing verandas. Nestled within an acre of lush greenery, the property boasts various seating areas for relaxation and a traditional wood-fired hot tub, covered for use in all seasons. There’s also a charming summer house in the garden, perfect for quiet moments of reflection. While the friendly owner lives onsite, guests are assured complete privacy, with exclusive use of the gardens.
Inside, the accommodation offers two bedrooms. The spacious upstairs room includes a king bed, a single bed, and en-suite facilities, while the incredibly cosy downstairs bedroom is accessed from the living room and features a double bed and a curtain for privacy. Although it does not have its own bathroom, guests can use the en-suite facilities upstairs. The cosy living room is equipped with a log burner, perfect for warming up during the winter months, and both floors have spacious terraces where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Motorsports enthusiasts can visit Oulton Park, only 15 minutes away, while families will enjoy the adventure-filled Bewilderwood, located 25 minutes from the property. Chester Zoo, one of the UK’s most renowned zoos, is just 25 minutes away, and the historic city of Chester, with its Roman landmarks and charming shopping streets, is only a 20-minute drive. Both Liverpool and Manchester are reachable within 45 minutes, perfect for day trips full of culture, shopping, and entertainment. For more excitement, Alton Towers and Monkey Forest are about an hour’s drive, while nearby historic castles such as Beeston, Cholmondeley, and Peckforton are 20 to 30 minutes away.
