Smoking in a room will result in a penalty fee as determined by resort management. Designated smoking areas include the BBQ area, main entrance island and the Northwest parking lot corner with receptacles provided. According to Arizona State Law, smoking is only permitted a minimum of 20 feet away from doors and windows. Smoking on balconies is not permitted.
Varsity Clubs of America-Tucson offers a daily towel exchange and trash removal upon request. A mid week clean is provided for guests staying three or more nights.
Please note that every attempt will be made to accommodate requests for suite location and early arrivals; however, these requests are based on availability and occupancy. Unfortunately, the resort is unable to guarantee room location.

Hotel Guests: At time of check-in, a valid government-issued photo identification is required and must match the guest name under which the reservation was made, credit card for $200 USD security deposit and a nightly rate of $15 plus tax resort fee* will be required at check in. The deposit must be made on a major credit card - cash and pre-paid debit cards are not accepted.

Résumé: This property worked well for our family. Of course every property has it's pros and cons and this one is no exception. We found it to be exceptionally clean and had comfortable beds. Our youngest slept on the pull out sofa and he had no complaints when asked. My husband laid on the sleeper sofa for a bit and said "it's not bad!". Having two separate bedrooms and two separate baths is outstanding. The bathrooms were very clean and had nice, soft towels. The amenities in the kitchenette were very basic, but it was very nice to have them. Since we were visiting family who lived very nearby, we mostly ate breakfast and snacked in our room. I hadn't realized that the property has two gas grills available for guests. We used the grill one evening. We got grilling tools from the front desk (note: the desk has to turn on the gas to the grills for you from inside). The grills were also very clean. We were able to leave the dirty tools in the kitchen and were told housekeeping would take care of them for us. The pool was clean and the perfect temp for the warm days we experienced on our stay. The hot tub is on the small side, but we enjoyed it as well. Our son remarked how nice it was that both the pool and hot tub had lift chairs for accessibility. We also enjoyed the cute little golf/putting area and the hand shuffleboard game in the lobby. There is also a pool table in the lobby. No charge to play, you just need to ask for the equipment at the desk. Great, FREE, downtime filler for our family. There is also a small "gift shop" in the lobby for forgotten items, light snacks, soda/water, and of course a few gifts. Our flt cancelled about 15 minutes before we were ready to walk out the door. We went to the desk and explained the situation and had to ask for a late checkout in order to rework our travel plans. The manager was very helpful in not only giving us the late checkout, but checking to see what rooms were available in case we needed to stay another night, and offering us the use of the pool and facility for the day, if our travel plans had us leaving later in the day. Since we had some unexpected time on our hands, we made use of their guest laundry room. I am usually quite grossed out by hotel laundry areas--not this one! Again, very clean area and there was no coin operated machines!--just two small stacked washer/dryers--free for guests to use. Only cons: some road noise, a/c fan in our room was a little noisy.
