This apartment is located in an extremely peaceful and safe neighborhood. However you are close to all necessary amenities. You will have a total of 43 m² own space in your personal use. This studio is on the top floor of a 3-storey building (33 m² inside space + a huge 10 m² private and sunny balcony). Private bathroom with a toilet, shower and washing machine inside the apartment.
The apartment building is located in Pohjois-Tapiola which is a highly respected, peaceful and safe neighbourhood surrounded by nature. Great forest paths for walking/jogging/biking start just behind the building. Pohjois-Tapiola is located next to Otaniemi (Aalto University campus) and it takes only 10 minutes by bike to Aalto University's Otaniemi campus area. If you like walking it is only ~2.5 km to Aalto Uni and by bus/metro it takes around 15 minutes. Helsinki is only ~30 minutes away either by bike or by bus/metro. The location could not be better for someone who values peace and tranquility yet close to shops and all necessary facilities.
This fully furnished move-in ready home is suitable for example for an Erasmus exchange student, an internship, a summer worker, a postdoctoral researcher, a PhD student or a Master's Thesis worker, who is coming to study/work for example at Aalto University, University of Helsinki or Hanken School of Economics or to the Keilaniemi/Keilaranta business area which is located next to Otaniemi.

✨DISTANCES AND TRAVELLING
Excellent public transport connections within Espoo and also to Helsinki, capital of Finland. Near all necessary services:
~10 minutes by bike to Aalto University (possibility to rent an own bike or two for your private use)
1-2 minutes walk to the closest bus stops
5 minutes to the nearest metro station by bus
~15 minutes by bus + metro to Aalto University
~2.5 km to Aalto University in Otaniemi
~30 minutes to Kamppi, Helsinki by bus + metro
~15 minutes by bike and ~20 minutes by bus+metro to Keilaniemi/Keilaranta business center/park
~4 minutes by bike to the nearest grocery store
~2 km to a huge shopping center called Ainoa in Tapiola
~200 meters to the nearest city bike station. There are 460 city bike stations inside the area of Espoo + Helsinki and they are open between April and October.
~10 minutes to the seaside and Laajalahti nature reserve area by bike
couple of minutes by bike to a huge Tapiola Golf course area which is surrounded by sand roads for walking/biking/jogging (or xc-skiing during winter time)

✨TARGET TENANT
Rented only to a NON-SMOKING, trustworthy, reliable and honest person (or two person with a different rent), who respects the property and the neighbours. You want to keep the apartment clean&tidy, don't cause any disturbance to the neighbours and remember to pay the rent on time.
NOT SUITABLE FOR PARTY ANIMALS!
The tenant needs to have a clean credit report (landlady checks this thing).
Note that smoking an e-cigarette is also smoking so rented only to a person (two persons) who doesn't (don't) use e-cigarettes!
✨GOOD TO KNOW!
No smoking/vaping/drugs or anything similar allowed!
No parties/pets/subtenants/subletting/air b&b/couch-surfing or anything similar!
No incense stick smoking!
No deep-frying, use of excessive oil or flaming when making/frying food on the stove or in the oven (to avoid grease residues all over the apartment)! Kitchen area must be kept clean like the rest of the apartment.
A written rental agreement is signed between me (landlady/owner of this studio) and you (the tenant).
✨READY TO MOVE IN HOME
Move-in ready home including everything seen in the photos + much more (for example kitchen and cleaning stuff inside the cabinets). Possibility to have also bed linen, towels and/or bicycle(s). Basically you can just bring your suitcase and start living. Ask for a more detailed list of the items included. The list of items that are included can be modified based on what you want/need.
✨COSTS
❗Note! The rent depends on the rental period (how long and when) and how many persons are moving in.❗For example for one person:
990 e/month for the whole academic year of Aalto University (August - July)
1130 e/month for minimum three months between January and mid August
1230 e/month for the autumn exchange term of Aalto University (August - December)
Please ask for the price for some other period and/or for two persons before making a booking request, thank you.
Water + electricity + Wi-Fi are all ready to use when you move in. Utility fee is 150 e/month and it is paid monthly on top of the rent.
Tenant(s) must purchase a home insurance in Finland for the whole renting period. I will help you with the insurance procedure so don't worry about it. The insurance costs are ~11 e/month.
Nothing works with gas. Central heating + waste management + warm bike storage spaces + separate drying rooms with heaters for washed laundry are also all included.
Refundable security deposit is EITHER 1500 euros (six months or less) OR 2 x the monthly costs (longer than six months). Security deposit is paid via Housing Anywhere before the move-in day.
Ask for a possibility to use the sauna in the building and/or rent a car parking space (costs extra).
Possible to have also bed linen, towels and/or bicycle(s) (costs extra).
