This listing is for FOUR cottages. These luxurious and stylish units are part of Cape Carraholly Retreat, nestled in British Columbia's old growth, oceanfront rainforest. Since our mini resort is on a remote, water-access only property, we provide boat shuttle services.
Please note that we have a time restrictive check-in and check-out process. Please refer to the section "Getting Around" for more information on extra fees.

THE SPACE

INDOORS:
Each cottage contains a primary suite with a King bed and 4-piece ensuite and a second bedroom with a Queen bed. Three of our four cabins also have a third room with a pull-out sofa that transforms into a double bed. Most of our cabins can accommodate larger groups, depending on prior arrangement with the host (fees will apply). The cottage also has a fully stocked kitchen and a beautiful open living/dining floor plan with large picture windows to enjoy the panoramic views.
OUTDOORS (COTTAGE):
Enjoy two outdoor heated patios with plenty of space for outdoor seating, including a dining table and several comfortable lounge chairs to sink into. The outdoor deck additionally contains a BBQ for cooking delicious meals and a gas fire pit for warming up on a chilly night. Finish your day off by escaping to a hot tub oasis tucked away in the forest and under a starry night sky. *There are 2 hot tubs on the property at 2 of the cottages*
OUTDOORS (PROPERTY):
The Property is located on a 75 acre ocean front property at 73WR+2PC, Port Moody, B.C. An extensive beach and inlet shoreline will satisfy your adventurous spirit. Discover over 26 km of hiking trails and 9 km of cycling trails throughout the dense rainforest of the təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park where you will find beautiful hidden beaches, diverse flora and fauna, and trees older than 500 years. Step out the back door and enjoy quick access to an abundance of outdoor activities including kayaking, fishing, crabbing, boating, and swimming off the dock. The communal beach shack provides seating and a gas fire pit for guests to use while savoring B.C.’s unrivaled sunsets.

GUEST ACCESS
Access to the property is limited due to its remote location. You must coordinate transport logistics with the host in order to enter and depart from the property during your stay.
Guests have full access to the 1,300 sq.ft. 3 bedroom cottage as well as the densely-wooded 75 acres it sits upon. The deck and yard space surrounding the cottage is equipped with a fire pit, BBQ, hot tub, hammock, and outdoor dining. Guests also have access to the dock, beach, and hiking trails within the property.
GUEST INTERACTION
The host will meet with the guests upon check-in and checkout and is staying on the property, but in a different building while respecting guests' privacy.
NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW
The property is located within the jurisdiction of the City of Port-Moody, but just on the border of Belcarra District.

The təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park is a 1, 00 hectare (2, 700 acre) regional park on the shores of the Indian Arm of the Burrard Inlet in Belcarra, British Columbia, in the Greater Vancouver area.
GETTING AROUND
BOAT SHUTTLE SERVICE
Parking and transport logistics will be provided to you through a PDF file automatically upon confirmation of your reservation. Specifically, we provide parking for guests as well as an approximate 10 minute boat shuttle from the meeting point at Rocky Point in Port Moody, B.C.
Most of our guests pack enough food, beverages and luggage for the duration of their stay as there is no vendor nearby. Once you are on the property, you will need our assistance if you would like to leave the property.
Please note that this is a water-access only, remote property. The uniqueness of the property offers unique challenges and costs. We are NOT a hotel. Please respect that we have a time restrictive check-in and check-out process to make this project possible to exist.
One boat shuttle is included in the cost of your stay for both the check-in and check-out process.
Each additional boat shuttle costs $25.
You may need to pay extra fees if you apply to any of the following:
EXTRA FEES:
1) You have a group larger than 8 (the boat fits 8 guests in addition to the driver).
2) You have guests completing the check-in & check-out process at separate times.
3 You have excessive luggage. Staff have the right to determine the maximum capacity per boat shuttle according to safety regulations.
4) You request extra boat shuttles throughout your stay.
For example, if you have a group of 10 guests, you will need 1 extra boat shuttle trip during the check-in process ($25) and 1 extra boat shuttle trip during the check-out process ($25) for a total of $50.

*Please dress warmly and prepare yourself for unexpected weather conditions. We strongly advise that you bring rain gear since the pontoon shuttle boat provides limited rain protection.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
POTENTIAL FOR DISTURBANCE
- Potential for noise due to occasional nearby train activity.
- Tides and waves as a result of commercial shipping lane activity, if you are staying on a boat overnight.
ADDITIONAL HOUSE RULES
DISCLAIMERS:
- You are responsible for reading all sections including the listing description, “The Space,” “Getting Around,” and “Additional House Rules" " sections. You understand that this a remote property in the wilderness and thus requires attention to the risks of exposure to the elements or wildlife.
STRICTLY ENFORCED (Wildlife):
-($100 fine) No food, garbage, luggage, dishes or anything with the potential to attract wildlife such as bears or mice is to be left outdoors unattended.
-($50 fine) No doors left open. Close doors behind you to prevent wildlife from entering the cottages.
-($50) Noise complaint(s) from guests in other nearby cottages.
-($150) Excessive noise and music after 11 pm, or a second noise complaint.

GUEST CAPACITY
The max. capacity for these cottages is 40 guests. This is because we are flexible if guests wish to bring air mattresses or rent air mattresses from us for $25 per air mattress (linen included). Please let us know if you require air mattresses.

($15) Per guest for every guest after 8 guests (for duration of stay, NOT per night)
EXTRA CLEANING:
-($25) Some dishes are not washed (one side of the sink).
-($50) All dishes not washed (two sides of the sink).
-($75) Party or "event" cleanup.
-($25) Extra linen fee (e.g. 2 guests use 2 bedrooms instead of one).
PETS:
-Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
-Pets cannot be left in a cabin unsupervised.
-You must clean up after your pet.
OTHER:
-Guests are responsible for reporting any electrical issue, plumping issue, or non-functioning item or appliance within the unit.
-Amount to be determined by the host as judged reasonable and with supporting documents.
