The seaplane operates from 06:00 AM to 03:30 PM and the schedule will be determined 1 day prior to arrival/departure. A maximum check-in baggage allowance per person is 20 kilograms and hand luggage allowance of 5 kilograms. Additional charges apply for excess baggage.
Meet and greet service is provided by JOALI Maldives team. International flight details must be communicated to the property at least 7 days prior to arrival to secure seaplane or domestic flight seats. Departure CIP service can be arranged 3 days prior to arrival with hotel reservation directly. Charges for departure CIP service is USD 215 per person regardless of age and are subject to 10% service charge.
The shared seaplane transfer fee is USD 1350 per adult (12 years and above), USD 675 per child (2 to 11.99 years), and complimentary for infants (below 2 years) for the round trip. The maximum baggage allowance per person (2 years and above) is 25 kg, including 5 kg of hand luggage. Excess baggage will be charged at USD 5.60 per kg. The linear dimension of any luggage must not exceed 158 cm. Hand luggage is limited to one small bag of 3 kg (small handbag, smallest size backpack, or laptop bag).
Upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE), our airport representative will welcome you, assist with your seaplane check-in, and escort you to our airport lounge for a peaceful wait. Please note that as this is a shared transfer, the seaplane may stop at other destinations en route. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes each way.
To arrange your transfer, inform us at least 3 days in advance with the full names of guests, gender and age of children, and your arrival and departure details (international flight numbers or the hotel you'll stay at before/after your visit). Exact seaplane timings are confirmed one night prior as they are operated by a third party. The resort is not responsible for any extra charges due to cancellations by the service provider.
