Brook Hall is a classical English mansion built in 1835, where there is beauty, space, fresh air, comfort, freedom, and incredible far-reaching unspoilt views in all directions with amazing sunrises and sunsets. The Wing sleeps up to 16 guests and consists of eight large double or twin bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large kitchen and a sitting area with Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs with an electric Belling cooker and a large extendable farmhouse table for sit-down meals.
There is plenty of room to relax and chat with friends and family with picture windows. Two of the deep roll-top baths have far-reaching views across the Yorkshire countryside. One of the baths is a jacuzzi bath, should you wish to have a long soak after the day’s adventures, and in addition two of the bathrooms have showers for guests on the go. Come and relax outside in your very own private, Victorian walled garden in the grand setting of the magnificent Hall. Enjoy the sofas, sun loungers and amazing views, and have leisurely sit-down drinks and meals outside, with the table and chairs, firepit and charcoal BBQ. Your stay will be sustainable as the electricity is solar resourced, all the waste is recycled and only biodegradable products are used.
There is a stunningly situated, hard tennis court by the Hall if you like to play, and there is also the option of arranging for a hot tub for your stay by contacting the owners directly - £165 for 1 night, £190 for 2 nights, £210 for 3 nights, £255 for 4 nights, £300 for 5 nights, £345 for 6 nights and £390 for 7 nights.
Set within the delightful little village of Wighill, which has its excellent pub and is located just outside York, one of the most visited cities outside London. You have quick access to the independent shops, café, pubs, restaurants, and the many tourist attractions York has to offer. Other towns and cities close by are the fashionable spa town of Harrogate and the bustling city of Leeds. Brook Hall is also on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks, both full of bike trails and beautiful scenic walks. Brook Hall is also very well positioned for both York and Wetherby racecourses, so why not have a day at the races? If you and the family fancied a day at the beach, the wonderful east coast can be found in just over one hour. Hot tub hire is available but guests would need to arrange this with the owner before their arrival.
