A lovely barn conversion in the village of Slyne with Hest & overlooking Morecambe Bay.
The Artist Studio is part of a collection of old barns that were converted into large family homes in 1990's by the present owners.
It's in a private cobbled courtyard behind the Manor House, in the village of Slyne, which is now known as Slyne with Hest.
There's local shops & pubs all within walking distance from the studio. The village is also served by a regular bus service to Lancaster, Carnforth and beyond.
A good size apartment with two double beds, a fully equipped kitchen and walk in shower.
The Studio comes with a satellite flat-screen TV, a well-equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave, as well as 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. There's also free on site parking & Wifi.
This beautifully presented first-floor apartment provides the perfect base for couples and small families. Tastefully furnished with no attention to detail spared, it provides a truly unique getaway. You’ll find yourselves nestled in a quiet courtyard next to the tearooms in the popular village of Slyne with a choice of shops, cafes and pubs nearby. The coast is are easily accessed and the sandy beaches at Bolton-le-Sands and Morecambe are both within 4 miles. This wonderful retreat enjoys a fantastic central location where the Forest of Bowland AONB, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales can all be reached within a 20-mile radius. Step into this contemporary retreat as you are greeted by a spacious entrance hall. There is also storage here for bicycles. Adorned with bespoke furniture and imaginative artwork throughout, climb the stairs to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Every inch of space has been thoughtfully planned to provide a comfortable yet stylish atmosphere to socialise in. Relax on the sofas and watch a movie on the Smart TV or cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen. Off the living space are the master king-size bedroom and a spacious shower room.

Slyne with Hest is a small village 2 miles north of the historic city of Lancaster with it's Castle - and 3 miles from Morecambe, with Eric Morecambe's statue. There are 3 pubs serving good food within close walking distance, and several more pubs & restaurants within 30 minutes walk, and there's a lovely little Tea Room 25 yards across our courtyard in the Manor House serving home made cakes & scones. The Chemist and very well stocked Village Store/Post Office & Newsagent are 5 minutes walk whilst the canal is 15 minutes and the beach is 20 minutes walk away. Slyne makes a great base to drive north to visit Windermere and the Lake District, or East to the beautiful Trough of Bowland.
