The space
CaderView Cottage is nestled on a beautiful hillside in the Snowdonia National Park and overlooking the Mawddach Estuary and Cadair Idris mountain range. It boasts a South facing private patio and garden with spectacular views right outside.
You will find you have easy access from the door, to mountain and river trails for walks and a short drive away mountain biking at Coed y Brenin.
You hsvevyour own easily accessible parking space for the duration of you stay.. Calling out and receiving telephone calls through Wi-Fi is easy if you have an appropriate app on your phone.
There is underfloor heating and a diswasher. There is NO washing machine or tumble dryer but you can ask to use the ones at our cottage next door if needed.
PLEASE NOTE The stairs to the sleeping platform are fairly narrow and steep "paddle" stairs. There is a sofa bed downstairs if you prefer. Also useful if you need separate beds.
Guest access
You can take advantage of the private access to the the cottage via the public footpath which runs behind the house from the parking space on the drive (thereare steps down yo the cottage this way though and you might need to use a torch at night), so If arriving and it has been raining or is dark, please use the garden path and stay to the left of the main house, where you will find the entrance to CaderView David he owner lives next door. Limited bike storage can be arranged. You have your own securely fenced garden with views and seating.
PLEASE NOTE
The house is accessed from a fairly steep tarmaced lane which is well used and has plenty of passing places. The satnav runs out at the cattle grid just after Bryn y Groes the house before us. We are the next house on the hill up a drive. There is a wooden signpost on the lane with our house name on it Llechfraeth Uchaf. The road IS fairly steep and if you are using public transport you will need us to arrange a lift for you with your luggage, unless it is very easily managed.
Interaction with guests
David or Claire are generally available to offer advice and help if needed, just message if we aren't in. The space has it's own private access, garden and patio.
We prefer you to not leave your pet "Home Alone" in case of accidents or damage, unless they are happy in their crate/cage and have access to drink/food.
