This Appalachian-style log cabin is nestled in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Virginia, two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and close to wineries, hiking, antiquing, and more. The cabin is well-appointed, comfortable, and sleeps up to 6 with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Come on out to play and/or work!
This air-conditioned and fully furnished cabin is constructed of hand-hewn hemlock logs and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highlights include a cozy gas fireplace, WiFi, a 42-inch cable HD TV, an impressive full kitchen, and all towels/linens. Soak in the views of the mountains and the Dan River from your large private balcony. Inside, relax by the fireplace (in season), and enjoy the custom-appointed accents such as hand-crafted black walnut furniture, stone and wood accents, and a loft with a writing table. During your visit, be sure to set aside some time to visit the historic Cockram Mill.
The cabin is situated in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains within The Villages of Blue Ridge Passage Resort (formerly Blue Ridge Passage Resort), conveniently located just an easy drive from RTP, Greensboro, Charlotte, and Roanoke! Enjoy live bluegrass along the Crooked Road-Virginia's Heritage Music Trail! The cabin is located just outside the village of Meadows of Dan, and nearby Stuart, Floyd, and Hillsville. Great hiking and fishing can be found in the area near Buffalo Mountain and Rocky Knob, along with several wineries, cideries, meaderies, and many other attractions and events in the area.
