The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities to enjoy throughout your stay including surfing, kite surfing, beach camping, mountain-walking and fishing. The area is renowned for hiking and mountain-walking on Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick, the latter of which is the site of an annual monastery pilgrimage.
