In the foothills of the plateau of the Champagne Crayeuse, Chavanges is a small village with 700 inhabitants and many shops (bakery, grocery, pharmacy, medical centre, etc.) Located 15 km from Brienne-le-Château, Chavanges is a flowered village where it is pleasant to live and rest. Its monumental Saint-Georges Church, its hall and its half-timbered houses with their “porte-rue” will not leave you indifferent to the beauty of the site.
Located in the village centre of Chavanges, our gîte “Au detour du Der” was built in 2012. This new 230 m² house is in a contemporary style. It has been built around a huge living space (living room opening onto the kitchen and the entrance) where a sweet, warm and convivial atmosphere reigns. You will particularly appreciate the Zen and relaxing atmosphere of the wood as well as the natural warmth provided by the sunrays that penetrates trough large window bays.
Everything has been designed to ensure comfort. It is a spacious functional house composed of 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets and fitted to accommodate up to 10 persons.
You will fully enjoy the terrace that surrounds the house and spend pleasant moments with friends or in family. You can take your meals there but also relax and rest on deckchairs while enjoying the tranquillity of this place in the shade of the hundred-year-old horse chestnut that is in the park.
