Résumé: We had a great experience with this rental and will likely rent here again. There is natural privacy at this place. The front and backyard are a little oasis of natural fencing of trees and bushes that make you feel like you are tucked away in LBI. The fenced in yard is a plus if you are bringing a dog. The inside worked well for my needs because we had two families traveling together. The two units made the vacation great because it provided a separate sleeping area for the other family upstairs and the only way to access it was the outside steps. The house felt lived in which is what you want in a rental and not just some boring white-walled home where everything is cookie-cutter. If you're looking for that, this isn't the place. We were very close to the beach and were able to walk there just fine. This is also walking distane to many of the shops at the north end of the island but expect to drive to the rest of the island if you want to head to Surf City and anything further. It's a decent drive to get to the southern end but I like being tucked away. Overall, great experience with this rental and as I said previously, I would recommend this if your living situation needs two living spaces.
