The Beach House is located in the village of Balatonlelle, on a dead-end street near Lake Balaton. In this quiet environment you can relax, enjoy the sunshine and take a refreshing dip in the Balaton, which is just 30m away. In the garden there is a slide and a swing where children can enjoy playing. The house is only a 5 minute walk from the center of town as well as the shore of the lake. At the corner of the street you will find a small shop where you can buy fresh products for breakfast. On your walk to the center you will pass by a few restaurants and within 5 minutes you will reach the Spar supermarket. The apartment complex consists of apartments of varying sizes which can accommodate from 3 to 9 persons. They have either 1 or 3 rooms. Each house has a private bathroom / toilet, a television with satellite connection, a kitchen and a terrace or balcony. You can park your car in the garden. The owner is a beekeeper who is always inviting guests to taste his honey.
This is a newly-built, modern attic apartment suitable for 7+2 persons. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, both of which have 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the necessary amenities: toaster, cooking range, fridge, coffee maker, microwave oven, TV, washing machine, cutlery, plates and pots and pans. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. A spacious balcony also belongs to the apartment. The house is child-friendly. A baby bath, playpen, baby bed and/or highchair are available upon request.
Balatonlelle is situated in Somogy county, on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, 135 km from Budapest and west of Siófok. Parking is free throughout the whole area of Balatonlelle. Lake Balaton is often affectionately called the “HungarianSea”. Balatonlelle has a more than 2-km-long well-equipped free beach. The water deepens gradually and therefore it is very popular with families with small children. Water football, beach volleyball, tennis courts, a giant slide, pedal boats and sports equipment rental make this area very popular among visitors.
Next to the free beach the new Napfény Strand water park (SunshineBeach) awaits guests. It features all kinds of water attractions, a water playground, water slides, wave pool, saunas, steam bath, solarium and massages. The pools can be heated, so they can be used in the colder months as well. The newest feature of Napfény Strand is a giant water slide. A whole range of cultural programs await tourists here. Some examples include sailing, boat trips, tennis, fishing, wine tours, cultural programs, parks and forest and for children: a holiday park, amusement park and circus. The focal point of summertime activities in Balatonlelle is St. Stephen's Square. Here amateur bands entertain the public with their concerts, while people browse the offerings of the local market. Portrait artists are also part of the colorful venue. Children can enjoy the circus which is open all summer long. Besides the cultural programs, there are lots of concerts to choose from. You can enjoy an organ concert every Saturday evening in the Roman Catholic church. The following summer festivals make summers more enjoyable: Balaton Boat Exhibition, Fisherman's soup cooking competition, Wine Festival of Balatonlelle, water show and fireworks display on the 20th of August and the Regional Strudel Baking Competition. Every August the Wine Festival is organized in honor of St. Donat, the patron saint of vineyards. Hungarian folklore programs help to make the Wine Week more colorful. Tourists can sample the local wines while fans of Hungarian cuisine will be delighted to find all the best of Hungarian food here- piles of sausages, trotters and ham are enough to tempt anyone!
