This beautiful gite, Beaulieu, is situated adjacent to the owners home and set in a large garden, amongst vineyards, with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. It has it's own terrace great for dining outdoors with a view. It offers a quiet escape where one can enjoy their books by the pool after a day of sightseeing in the area.
The 10m x 5m pool with its own large covered terrace is the perfect place to enjoy hot sunny days. Guests can enjoy this private pool and the quiet country roads surround the property for scenic walks.
Upstairs, the second bedroom has two twin beds. The main floor master has a double bed, and the living space has a comfortable sofa and sitting area as well as a table for dining in the breakfast nook.
Le Jardin des Brandes is situated within easy reach of Bordeaux, Cognac & St Emillion, and several charming small villages. Also nearby are lakes with beaches. It is the perfect base to explore the French countryside while enjoying a relaxing vacation.

Résumé: Wow...what can one say! The views from the pool are simply beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. A pure hidden gem!!! When you work in a busy city and life is hectic this is the perfect place to come and relax, and enjoy rural France! This place was perfect for our young little family. Our girls (6 & 4years of age) had everything on site to keep them entertained:- from the pool, to rolling down the side of the little slope by the pool, and the Childrens out door climbing frame. Collecting acorns and fruit from the trees. If you are very quiet and up early you can even see the wild life (hares) from the front doors which the girls where amazed by. Not to mention the dear when you drive down the little lanes. The vineyard and different fruit trees are just beautiful too. We often ate our meals by the pool area just soaking in the pure panoramic beauty. Everything is easily accessible via car. We would definitely recommend the sand dunes....take the stairs as I struggled walking uphill on the sand! Definitely not for the faint hearted. The views from the Dunes. I just can't explain. It is definitely worth being out of breath for. We did a day trip to Bordeaux. (One day just isn't enough). Several visits to Entang villiers lake. (10 min car journey). There is just so much to do and the Gite is just in the perfect location to access all these wonderful things that France has to offer. The owners are just as amazing, nothing was ever to much trouble, always polite and friendly! Everything you need is on hand. So you don't need to pack the iron or hair dryers, Helen has that sorted too! So much so that we are looking forward to seeing them next year for two weeks. Thank you so much once again, the best relaxing holiday we have had. Xxx
