CHIANG MAI PARADISE

Our beautiful vacation villa with private salt water swimming pool is situated in a gated community with lush green tropical surroundings located just outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our villa is approximately 20 to 30 minutes from the city center of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our gated community is called Home In Park.
There is a maximum of 6 guests that are allowed to stay at overnight at our house. There are to be no parties or events of any kind-only quiet get togethers. 10 guests maximum are allowed during the day only from 8 AM until 8 PM Thank you!

The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Downstairs we have a living room with a 40 inch TV with both Premium and some English speaking channels,, a dining room, a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom. The downstairs bedroom has 2 single beds, a closet with drawers and a night stand with a lamp. There is also a sun room downstairs which is located through the glass door inside the house between the living room and dining room. The sunroom has seating for 6, a coffee table, a towel rack and a small stereo. The sunroom is your entrance out to our swimming pool.
Our full Western kitchen is also located downstairs. The kitchen was remodeled in early 2020 with a new induction cook top, a new oven, a microwave and a side by side refrigerator/freezer. We also have a rice cooker, a blender and a mixer. The kitchen is very well stocked with pot and pans and cooking utensils. We will supply you with a bottle of cooking oil, salt and pepper.

Upstairs, we have the master bedroom which has a connecting bathroom with a shower. The master bedroom has a closet with drawers, 2 night stands with lamps, and 2 chairs and a bookcase. There is also a 40 inch TV in the master bedroom. At the top of the stairs is another bathroom with a shower. To the right of the stairs is the office area. It comes with free use of a color/black and white Canon printer with extra ink and paper. Inside the office area is a day bed, a closet, and a desk with 2 office chairs plus a night stand with a lamp. We provide you with free high speed Internet.

Electricity is included in the rental price. We have just purchased all new air conditioners for our entire house in mid March 2020 which includes the living room/dining room area, kitchen, and all three bedrooms, plus the office area. Please close all doors-both upstairs and downstairs and especially the bathroom doors when using the air conditioners. This will help keep the electrical costs down so we can continue to keep our rental rates down. Also all air conditioning must be turned off each time that you leave the house. Résumé: This was our first visit to Northern Thailand and we had a wonderful nearly two week stay at this house in Hang Dong just outside of Chiang Mai. Wat the driver with his comfortable late model SUV picked us on arrival, drove us to restaurants in the neighborhood around the house, into the city and on trips throughout the region and finally to the airport for our early morning departure. Having an air conditioned car available every day at any time through the day or evening made our vacation so much more easy and enjoyable especially considering the sometimes not too comfortable and expensive local transportation. The house felt like a home, not cold and sterile like many vacation rentals, with art work and lovely decorative touches. Everything was in like new condition and we especially appreciated the kitchen which had much more than the minimum seen it most rentals with all the necessary kitchen tools, dishes, cups. glasses, pots and pans etc. We stocked the fridge and kitchen with supplies from very good local grocery stores. While we didn't cook big meals we were able to have delicious breakfasts, light meals and snacks which is a big benefit over staying in a hotel. The maid kept the house clean every day and did a wonderful job on our laundry bet was not intrusive when we there. One point of note is the exceptional state of the landscaping which was by far the best in the neighborhood with flowers, well kept lawns and hedges and a healthy lush lawn around the pool and patio thanks to the daily efforts of the two staff. If you want the best of a beautiful and calm location and easy access to the hustle and bustle of the city this rental should be on the top of your list. Definitely would recommend this as a 5 star experience!
