Aloha and welcome to our, "Makua Honua" (Family Paradise), a beautiful four-bedroom home located in Poipu at Poipu Kai Resort. This newly purchased home offers mālie a mālie, which means peace and quiet in Hawaiian. This home can accommodate up to eight guests including adults, children and toddlers. It is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and therefore, no street distracting street noise to interrupt your, ho'omaha (relaxation).
The alluring white plumeria trees welcome you as you upon arrival. Once inside, you will discover the large open floor plan with many windows that let in the golden Hawaiian sun. These windows also open up to allow the cool trade winds to flow through the home so that you may not even need the A/C. The living room is equipped with vaulted ceilings, lots of seating, a large flat-screen TV as well as several cards and board games. There is also a wet bar just in case you would like to enjoy a cocktail or mocktail while playing a game.
In the dining room, which is adjacent to the living room, has seating for ten plus four additional seats at the kitchen counter. There is plenty of seating where you can enjoy great family and friend gatherings. The dining room has a sliding glass door that opens up to a large lanai where you can enjoy outdoor dining and drinks while relishing the lush garden views around you. The lanai also has a gas grill for any grilling needs.
The home is about a five-minute walk from Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt. At the Grand Hyatt, there are many restaurants where you can sit and ho'omaha (relax) out on the lanai and soak in the ocean view. All you need to do is to walk down the greenbelt, located at the end of the cul-de-sac, and turn left. You can also turn right and take the greenbelt to Poipu Beach and Brennecke's Beach where Brennecke's restaurant is located.
On your way to Poipu Beach, you will see the community pool and the tennis courts. While at Brennecke's Beach don't forget to stop off and eat at Brennecke's and discover its history. If you like to golf, Poipu Bay Golf Club and Kiahuna Golf Club are only minutes away from the house.
If you prefer the pool or workout in a gym, included in your rental cost is access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club where there is a swimming pool with a slide, tennis courts, shuffleboards, basketball courts, pickleball courts, weight room, cardio room, studio for classes and a restaurant. This club is available to you the day after your arrival and is less than a two-minute drive from the house. Also, if you have an evening flight, you can purchase a "Departure Pass Program" for only $40.

This well-appointed home has luxurious comforts and is perfect for eight guests. We supply beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, boogie boards, a cooler as well as a beach wagon to help carry it all.
