PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION TO ENSURE OUR SPACE IS RIGHT FOR YOU:
The cabin is located on a 3/4 acre property along with the main residence where we reside and is therefore considered a 'bush style' accommodation. It offers an open plan space and has a large, relaxing deck facing the pool which includes a BBQ with burner and grill. The unique design of the cabin allows for light and a feeling of spaciousness, whilst the surrounding bushland and gardens provide a sense of being in nature, even though a large shopping complex is just 5 minutes or so up the road.
Please note we are NOT a hotel style accommodation. What this means is that whilst every effort is made to keep the cabin as clean as possible, the environment is relaxed and homey. There are plenty of birds in the morning and critters around of an evening, leaves from the trees floating on to your deck, etc.
Please note: Burpengary is a suburban area so whilst the cabin itself is located on a spacious property, the residence is near a main road and there is some traffic and other normal busy activity in the area.
*Pet friendly - we are happy to host one or two friendly dogs if they get along with other dogs. The property is fully fenced, and the cabin has a soft barrier on the deck that you can use to contain your dog, however your pooch will be sharing space with ours in general. On arrival, you will be met by our small dogs who live on the property. They will tend to bark at you whenever you enter and leave the premises, however they are friendly and enjoy a pat. Please note we do not accept guests with dogs who are not socialised or who are not under voice control.
If you do not like animals, please do not book this property as it will not be suitable for you. Please DISCUSS WITH US prior to arrival.
The comfortable queen size bed is perfect for couples or friends who are happy to share, whilst the fold out vinyl futon provides space for another guest for a night or two. We would not recommend using the futon for a longer term stay.
There is a small kitchenette with toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave plus a 5 burner BBQ available for cooking on the deck (including a wok/saucepan burner).
Please note we are not set up for small children but may be able to accommodate your small family if you contact us first. Due to a day spa being on the premises, noise must be kept to a minimum at all times. If you are looking to party at night on the premises, we ask that you choose different accommodation.
If you and your partner or friend fancy a massage, facial, body treatment, cosmetic or medispa skin treatment during your stay, the staff at Botanique Skin Wellness Spa are here to help. The day spa is located on the ground floor of the main premises so all you need to do is roll out of bed or get up from the pool recliner and come around to the front of house. (PLEASE NOTE WE ASK THAT OUR GUESTS KEEP NOISE LEVELS TO A MINIMUM, ESPECIALLY WHEN USING THE HOT TUB/SAUNA AS THIS AREA BACKS DIRECTLY ONTO THE DAY SPA)

We are located just three minutes to Bruce Highway (north to Caloundra/Sunshine Coast and Glasshouse Mountains approx 35 minutes, south to city approximately 40 minutes, Gold Coast theme parks approximatly 1 hour 15 minutes)
Sunshine Coast activities include Australia Zoo, hiking, waterfalls, Maleny Botanic Gardens, Noosa National Park, 4 Wheel driving, Eumundi and Caloundra markets, Glasshouse mountain townships including Maleny and Montville and more. Brisbane city sites include Southbank, river cruises, farmer’s markets, museums, casino, world class dining, theatre and more. Gold Coast theme parks include SeaWorld, Movie World, Dream World, Wet’n’Wild, Australian Outback Spectacular.
Guest access
The cabin is located behind the main residence and is accessible through a side gate. For security purposes, we ask that you keep this gate shut at all times.
There is off street parking available with enough room for a small boat as well.
Our guests are welcome to use the pool and hot tub when they like, however use of the sauna is by appointment with the day spa staff. These facilities are in a shared space with the main residence and day spa guests, but you will find they are not used all that often.
PLEASE NOTE: As we operate a day spa on the premises, we ask that you keep noise levels to a minimum at all times, particularly when using the hot tub as this area is adjacent to the business.

We have pets living on the property so visitors must be comfortable with dogs. Please note if you are intending to book in with small children we ask that you make contact with us first to discuss whether the property is suitable. Generally speaking, the property and cabin are not set up very well for toddlers.
