This is a special area to rest and enjoy nature, do to we are in a private area surrounded by forest and tropicals gardens, overlooking the ocean, just 3 minutes walk to the beach. Located 750 yards from Colorada Beach, Casa Horizonte Corcovado offers its guests accommodations with a rustic décor and free Wifi access on site.
We have the Corcovado National Park just 35 minutes by boat and 50 minutes to Caño Islan.
You can also walk along the coast, and beaches enjoying of beautiful trails appreciating nature and animals.
We offer you information and good advice to organice tours in the area, and you can enjoy our paradise in the best way.
The functional rooms include a fan. The bathrooms come with a shower.
Casa Horizonte Corcovado is surrounded by a lush garden and views of the surrounding nature can be enjoyed from the furnished terrace. There is free parking on site and the friendly staff can help with information of popular touristic spots in the area.
There are eateries and restaurants in Drake town that can be reached in about 10 or 15 minutes by foot.

Résumé: First off, Karen was a great host and helped us get taxis and navigate the small town with ease. There were a few small restaurants close by. We took taxis to get there and it cost about $5. Breakfast was offered at an additional charge on the property. It included coffee, fresh fruit, toast or pancakes and the scrambled eggs were yummy! There is an amazing view from the small deck outside of the bedroom. There is beautiful foliage all around the property, and the outside deck looks out over the ocean. We were able to hear the waves from our deck, and see Macaws fly by. It also has a little space/counter on the deck rail so you can eat your meals looking out at the beautiful view. The property is small, 678 square feet. There is one room with 3 beds, which seemed cramped to me. My husband and I are large people, but the listing was upfront on the square footage, so that is on me. It is listed is a bungalow, which is what it is. I would have liked to have a side table next to my bed to have a glass of water, my phone on a charger, etc - those kinds of things, but there wasn't, so I used the bed next to mine to keep those items nearby. There is a small area to hang clothing and a shelf on top. I used the single bed next to our queen bed to put my luggage on. I believe there was enough space to slide my luggage in and out from underneath the bed if I wanted to, but that's a lot of bending over for this old gal! All of the beds had mosquito netting to keep the mosquitos away, and two powerful ceiling fans to help with the humidity. My husband and I burned citronella incense outside, and we did not have any problems with the mosquitos. I'm not sure if we were lucky, or if mosquito season wasn't in full bloom yet! All in all, it is a quaint property with a beautiful view, a wonderful host and at a very affordable price.
