The space
This spacious property truly is located in a prime spot being short walking distance to both San Sebastian and La Ermita parks, the mercado at San Sebastian, many businesses and several local restaurants. It is also a short drive to Sam’s Club and a large grocery store. The home is well situated to make the most of life in Merida, but with more than enough space to easily forget that you are even in the city.
Casa Artemis is a stunning, colonial style home with a flowing floor plan and situated on a wide residential street. This 6 bedroom and 6 bathroom home has polished concrete and pasta tile floors throughout, concrete and tile countertops, pantry, hardwood cabinetry, and other touches. Entering the foyer, it is open into the entry sala, dining room, and kitchen, flanked on both sides by two large bedroom suites . The eat-in kitchen with its custom wood bar is a favorite gathering space, and has views out to the covered terrace, courtyard and POOLS. The large kitchen offers plenty of hardwood cabinetry, a large pantry, and all necessary appliances. The ample terrace affords a tranquil space to eat, relax, or converse with friends or family enjoying the pools.
Prominent in the courtyard of the home are the 2 filtered pools. They are both large and ideal for cooling off or spending a peaceful afternoon relaxing. Adjacent to the pools is a separate building housing the laundry room and full bathroom. Another two secluded bedroom suites are tucked away on the opposite side overlooking the pool area, affording quietness and privacy. This building also has a third floor roof terrace for views of the surrounding neighborhood.
All five of the bedrooms have air conditioning, and the largest bedroom suite sits above the main house. This upstairs master bedroom can be accessed from the covered terrace and has an ensuite bathroom with a large tub for relaxing at the end of your day. The two balconies off of the master overlook the pools and expansive outdoor space of Casa Artemis.
