This charming 1920's cottage is the perfect retreat for either a brief stay visiting all that Orlando has to offer, or could be a quiet escape to stay for a few months working remotely.
The home has one king size and one queen size bed, a separate office if you are needing to work out of the home. It's a private space but on a larger piece of property that also has two other homes and shares access to a beautiful lake - which our guests are welcome to use!

We live in the main house on site, closest to the lake, and are available for any questions or additional accommodations that might be needed. We are here if you need us, or invisible (somewhat) if you don't!
The location can't be beat. Located approx 10-15 minutes from the airport, 20-30 minutes from the main attractions, and about a 45-50 minute drive to the beach. By staying in this area, you aren't limiting yourself to one particular location or type of activity during your stay....you can enjoy some amazing lake fishing, a fun day at the beach, or just a short drive to the world class amusement parks that Orlando is known for. If you want to try something different while here, Kennedy Space Center is only about a 45 minute drive away, and there are some amazingly beautiful natural Florida springs within a couple hours that are worth the drive to see.
There are many restaurants nearby, some within walking or canoeing distance :) There is also a grocery store just up the road for anything you might need during your stay.
We do live on site in one of the homes, down in the house that is closest to the lake, so are available should you need anything during your stay.
This charming 1920's cottage is centrally located just south of downtown Orlando on a lake. Close to all the Disney and Universal attractions, airport & Cocoa Beach! Great restaurants located nearby, paddle right up to a lakefront Seafood spot. Disney World parks are located within 30 minutes of the home, Universal is within about 10-15 minutes, downtown Orlando less than 10 minutes.
If you are looking for a place close to it all, but far enough away that you can have a peaceful retreat at the end of the day, this is the place for you! Whether you are coming in town to enjoy the fun Orlando has to offer, or just looking for a quiet place to get away and work remotely for a month or two, you can find both here.
The home itself has incredible charm, which you can't find today in the more modern builds. Even though the home was built in the 20's, the updates and décor give it a truly one of a kind feel and experience for our guests. We hope you enjoy it and love it as much as we do!
Internet here is solid - so you won't miss a beat if you are needing to work from home, stream your favorite shows, or the kids keeping tabs on their social media! ;)
Bringing your car or renting a car is likely your best bet. There is so much to see and do in Orlando, so this would give you the most freedom to explore. If you don't want to deal with the hassle of renting a car at the airport, there is a small Enterprise rental location just down the street on Orange Ave that you could arrange to pick up a car from there. You would just need to take a taxi or Uber to the house, which with Uber it's only approx a $15-$25 ride.
We are also less than 1/4 mile from a bus stop on Orange Ave, which can take you right into downtown.
Parking is limited, so please inquire if you would be bringing more than one vehicle.
We do have a large dog that lives on site. He is a lab/great pyrenees mix and is very friendly.
*Our dock was damaged in this last hurricane, and we will begin construction soon for a new one - so there may be times where the actual dock is not usable during that construction phase. But access to the water will not be impeded and available for your enjoyment if you so choose.
