We are "Welcome2Warren". This is a family run local business in Dawlish Warren offering holiday rentals for discounted prices. Our chalets are in family ownership. The property manager lives just next door to the holiday park where the chalets are based. This means check-in is easy and flexible.
We offer several chalets in the same block on the Welcome Family Holiday Park. Clover chalet is a two storey villa accommodation which sleeps up to eight persons. There is an open plan lounge, kitchen and diner area downstairs. This includes a double sofa-bed. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, twin bedroom with extra double sofa-bed and bathroom (with shower over bath). We offer our guests free wifi, free electricity and free linen hire. A travel cot and highchair can be supplied if requested in advance (at no extra charge). There is a large TV in the lounge, and a second small TV in the twin bedroom. Wifi details will be issued upon arrival to guests in our welcome pack.
Parking is just outside the chalet at either side of the block. As the property manager lives very close to the chalets, we can arrange easy check in upon arrival at any time between 4pm and 11pm. Check-out is 10am on your last day. A well behaved dog is permitted to stay with you, and this is at no extra charge. We ask that you keep the dog downstairs using the baby gate provided, and do not leave your pet unattended in the chalet (due to site rules on noise. Site management reserve the right to ask guests to leave who are causing noise nuisance or anti-social behaviour). We are unable to accept cats or other large pets due to site rules.
The Blue Flag beach resort of Dawlish Warren is a few minutes flat walk from the chalet. Here you will find a small fun fair, go kart track, pubs, takeaways and a golf course. There are lovely coastal walks to be had in the nature reserve, or walking into Dawlish town along the sea-wall. Dawlish Warren has a train station and bus stop if you are not bringing a car with you.
The Welcome Family Holiday Park has a number of great facilities including a club, a pool complex, takeaways, shops, a pottery cafe, launderette, children's playground and crazy golf course. Private guests can use the club and pool for an extra charge (subject to demand/ capacity and time-restrictions which will be explained to you prior to occupation). There is a daily entertainment programme for adults and children, including competitions and sports events. Guests may take part during the day-time and after 7pm in the evening (off-peak weeks) or 9pm (peak weeks) if there is space in the clubhouse. The Hazelwood clubhouse on the holiday park across the road also welcome our guests at all times. Here you will find a nightly programme of family entertainment, bingo and quiz events, along with cabaret acts including comedy and singing performers. There is a well-stocked bar, and food options available to guests at Hazelwood clubhouse. Our chalets are conveniently located for sight-seeing, and Exeter/ Torquay/ Dartmoor are within easy reach for days out.
Please be advised that lead guests are required to sign a booking form issued by the property manager, and provide ID (which will be copied and attached to the booking form). There will be a copy retained by us, and a second copy issued to you. You will need to show this at the site facilities entrance door (pool or club) as proof of rental to obtain admission/ buy pool tickets. At present, site management policy is to allow 6 tickets to be bought per chalet. Only person(s) named on the booking form will be allowed to occupy our chalets, and enter the club or pool.
We are unable to accept bookings from stay/ hen groups, college/ school leavers or similar. This is in accordance with site rules, because the park is family orientated. If you are looking to have a family get together, we have three chalets in the same block to accommodate larger groups.
