Welcome to Red’s Retreat, the only three-bedroom condo in the Northgate community of Peek ‘n Peak Resort and Spa. Your home away from home awaits and no matter the season, the woodsy setting will help you escape the daily grind. The master bedroom, complete with a king-size, ultra-comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom, promises breathtaking and memorable views and a luxurious rest and recovery after a day of sporting activities. The second bedroom, also with its own ensuite, has both a full-size traditional bed and a twin-size loft overhead. The bunk room next door holds two twin bunks with a twin trundle tucked underneath. There is a full size air mattress with complete bedding and the living room holds a sectional couch near the fireplace plus a convertible chair/sofa bed. Red’s Retreat comfortably sleeps 9.
The Peak offers a multitude of dining and libation experiences on property (vary by season) plus several take-out options. If you’re not up for dining out, our Retreat provides a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a gourmet breakfast, simple lunch, or big family dinner. Just add the food!
While we’d never wish laundry upon anyone on vacation, you’ll love our full-size washer and dryer for those times when you need to get those ski clothes cleaned up (or at least warm before heading out into the blizzardy conditions). There’s plenty of closet space for all your gear and supplies.
And now for the fun!
WINTER: Peek ‘n Peak offers 26 trails and slopes of varying difficulty levels and 5 separate terrain parks. Red’s favorite – snow tubing (with lunar lights and music after dusk) -- is a thrilling experience as well. Sore after a long day of skiing? Try out the indoor/outdoor (yes, even in the winter there’s an outdoor option!) hot tub and pool! Enjoy ski-in and ski-out (adjacent) access from Red’s Retreat. Just walk up the hill and and you’re on Greenwood Forest Trail or drive two minutes down the road for the main lifts!
SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL:
Hit the links on the championship-caliber, par-72 course with yardages ranging from 4,800 to 7,000 yds to accommodate players of all skill levels with 5 teeing options to choose from. The Upper Course at Peek ’n Peak features bentgrass greens and fairways that offer professional playing conditions. Its unique terrain and natural features — including rolling hills, deep sand bunkers, panoramic views and mature woods — create a spectacular atmosphere and beauty that is unrivaled.
For the adventure seekers, try out the giant zip line or the Soaring Eagle Zip Line experience, the ropes course, or take a ride on a Segway, play some mini-golf or just sit back and enjoy a ride through the rolling hills on the non-snow-covered chair lifts. The pool and play zone are once again a great way to wrap up the day.
And don’t forget the Serenity Spa, which is open year-round for your pampering and relaxation! There are many seasonal events each year at the Peak. Plus, you’re just a short drive from the lovely towns of Findley Lake, NY and North East, PA where you can experience some of the best local wineries on the east coast.
