Résumé: I called Global Luxury as soon as I walked in the room. I specifically paid extra for a listing with a King size bed, but upon entering the room, there was a queen bed. The person I spoke with at Global was dismissive and told me that if I wanted a King bed, it would be an extra $200, and it would take 3 days. This was unacceptable, because we were there only 3 nights. I hung up with Global and called VRBO. I was asked to submit both the listing number and a picture of the bed, which I promptly did. After confirming I was correct, VRBO called Global. A back and forth between the two companies took place for what seemed like an hour or longer. The solution Global came up with was to move me to another property that had 2 Queen beds or I check out and they refund my stay. Neither option worked for me, so I called VRBO. I was told a suitable room would be found, but I never heard back. I was not pleased with this encounter. Other than the incorrect bed description, the room was beautiful and clean. Had the bed been properly described, I could definitely stay there again. But, after my experience with customer service, I can’t see using them again.
