A Laxe is a rural house with more than a century of antiquity that is situated on the slope of the mythical mountain of O Pindo (Olimpo Celta, sacred mountain of the Celts where they realized their sacrifices) to 50 meters of its official ascent and of the beach Of San Pedro of the town of O Pindo (Carnota).
It is bordered by a stream called "Regato da Laxe" which brings the waters coming from "A Moa" name which is called the highest point of Mount Pindo, with 641 meters of altitude above sea level, and from which You can see Finisterre, Corcubión, the impressive beach of Carnota and, they say, the towers of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
The house was restored with passion, integrating it more if it fits with the environment, respecting as much as possible the structure and materials of a typical Galician house located at the edge of the sea, having a predominant role in its rehabilitation stone and wood.
The entrance porch, located on the main facade of the house, overlooks the sea from a large terrace that has as background the beach of O Pindo and beyond, the Finisterre lighthouse.
Inside, the dining room shares space with the kitchen and in this one has conserved the typical Galician "fireplace", nerve center of the house where once its inhabitants met the heat of the fire. In the living room, the furniture and materials let us guess the past, on a journey back in time. The rooms have a lively flavor and invite you to stay in them because of the warmth that they are, we call them Monte, Mar and Rio since from their windows we look at these landscapes.
In the exterior it has several terraces, which are accessed by a side of the house that borders the stream and ascending the hillside of the mountain from the highest seen a splendid view and where we can contemplate the fall of the Sun at the end of world.
