Our family would like to welcome you to our tiny cabin located a stone’s throw away from the Mud Lock on the NYS Cayuga-Seneca River. Close and easy access the the beautiful Cayuga Lake! A perfect, quiet and serene destination for nature enthusiast’s, angler’s, boater’s and hunters. Fishing is permitted on site from the bank. NYS Fishing license is required.
If sitting and enjoying peace and quiet is more of your speed, there is a perfect water and nature view from our cabins porch that has 4 chairs. Just kick back, relax, bird watch, boat watch, read a book or take a nap! There is a fire pit, picnic table, and charcoal grill. (Charcoal not provided). The cabin faces west so you can take in the afternoon sun and enjoy spectacular sunsets. There is also plenty of shade under the porch and under the trees in the area where the picnic table is.
The cabin comes equipped with everything you need to make your camping stay as comfortable as possible. It has a full kitchenette with: stove/oven, refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, a drip coffee maker, some pots and pans, melamine dishware, cups, utensil’s, dish soap, wash cloth. There is a table with 2 stools for dining as well as a a futon sofa that will sleep 1 comfortably.
The bedroom has a full-sized bed, 32in TV with Hulu and Disney+, ESPN, and a reading lamp.
The bathroom has a roomy shower, toilet and full sized washer/dryer. We also provide air freshener, a broom with dust pan, hand sanitizer in the bathroom and hand soap is provided at the kitchen sink.
There is a combo wall unit for heat and AC, with ceiling fans to circulate the air through the open ceilings of the bedroom and bathroom.
Some paper products are provided: (2) garbage bags, toilet paper, facial tissues, napkins, ALL Free and Clear brand laundry soap, and dryer sheets; if you would like to bring your own or extra you are of course welcomed to do so! (Paper plates and paper towels are not provided)
Linens:
One fitted sheet is provided for each-the full sized mattress and futon. All other linens are not provided at this time.
You will need to bring your own sheets, blankets/sleeping bags, pillows, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and toiletries.
Accessibility notes:
The porch sits 2 feet off of the ground and requires climbing 3-4 steps.
There is one step into the cabin, and a step to get into the bathroom.
Parking will accommodate 2 vehicles, over flow parking across the road.
There is no fence around the property.
Other notes:
Small well-trained dogs under 30 pounds are welcomed! Max-2 dogs. ($85 pet fee required per pet)
Cats are not allowed due to owner severe allergies. We are very sorry!
