This retreat is just the place to get away from it all while still being conveniently located near Highway 101 and a mere half-mile from the heart of Orick. When you want to get outside, head over to Redwood National and State Parks to see the world's tallest trees, or make your way two miles west to the moody beaches of Northern California or to the magical and ancient Fern Canyon. A few minutes north brings you to the old-growth temperate rainforest in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Guided tours of the area are readily available at Redwood Adventures.
