The Farm House and Cottage at Ballimore are accessed via a 2 mile farm track leading off the B845 by Taynuilt. Both properties were built in 2002 and are ideal for large families, groups of friends or activity groups such as painting, yoga, well-being, walking groups seeking privacy within a unique and peaceful environment.
The Farm House has two steps or a ramp leading to the front door and the large entrance hall with modern stair case leads up to the second floor.
To the left of the entrance is large open plan kitchen dining area. The kitchen offers plenty of space with two ovens, induction hob, dishwasher and spacious pantry. The work surfaces faces onto the dining area with double sided Multi fuel stove and seating area beyond. The large windows and four French doors offer plenty of light and direct access to the garden.
To the right of the entrance is a small cloak room and the library with a comfortable grand sofa and snuggler. It offers a perfect space to enjoy reading or watching TV in front with an open fire for those cold winter days. Large French doors give access to the garden and a selection of books and DVDs, toys and games and Hi-FI system can be enjoyed by groups of all ages.
The Master Suite, is to the far left of the ground floor. It offers the comfort of a large king sized bed and a day bed, dining table and chairs, a large chest of drawers and black out curtains. The French doors and large window let in plenty of light and the ensuite bathroom suite offers a his and hers basins, free standing bath and wet-room shower.
A small corridor off the main Hall leads to the laundry room to the right and the swimming pool to the left. The door to the back hall is lockable to safeguard children from using the pool unsupervised. The pool is heated by an eco-friendly air-sourced heat pump and is in operation from April until October.
On the first floor the property offers a large lounge with three comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove and a south-facing terrace overlooking the Farm Yard, Loch Tromlee and Estate beyond. A round table with six chairs provides an ideal setting for board games or afternoon tea.
The four upstairs bedrooms are situated along a long bright corridor on the first floor and offer comfortable accommodation for individuals and couples and each have ensuite bathrooms with showers over baths.
The twin room can be set up for three individuals with an additional third bed, and one of the three double bedrooms also has a additional day bed.
The adjacent Cottage (HAUK 8746771) can be booked separately and can accommodate up to an additional four guests.
