Close to year-round outdoor activities, this Vintage Farmhouse is a beautiful, unique and family-friendly place to make memories. You will love all the themed rooms and the huge yard to relax and play in!
the house has a total of 6 bedrooms with 9 beds total. there are 3 bathrooms with 2 of those in rooms, a shared full bathroom is located on the main floor. Parking for everyone and a basketball hoop for some fun competition.
We found this beautiful farmhouse and knew it would be amazing. We've learned about the original owner, W. Perkins who built the first part of the house in 1935. He was an instructor at North Cache High School and Utah State University. He was an artist and painted a mural on the wall in the main floor bathroom that was left there by the next owners, Judi and Ken Roe. Judi and Ken were also teachers in Smithfield. They added to the home to create a beautiful place for their family with all the characteristics of a warm and comfortable "grandma's house".
We have gone through and updated areas in the home and are excited to share the awesome place with other families who are coming to Cache Valley for different events or activities.

The Vintage Gem Farmhouse is located 0.3 miles from the mouth of Smithfield Canyon and Mack Park. It is 10.2 miles from Cherry Peak Ski Resort and 36 miles from Beaver Mountain Ski Resort. Birch Creek Golf Course is 0.7 miles from our location.
This location is perfect for whatever your family is looking for as you gather to make memories.
Guest will enjoy the main floor for gathering in the kitchen and living room. The Sherlock Holmes room is perfect for board games and can also be used as an office or reading room. The CordaRoy's Bean Bag can be made into a floor bed.
The "Farm Room" has a Queen Bed and double door closet.
The Vintage French room has a King Poster Bed, Armour with a TV and Master bathroom with character.
Children and teens will appreciate the top floor. The Flower or Secret Garden room has a twin over full bunk bed with a trundle bed.
Across the hall, several people can play video games on the TV that is hung in the open closet. There is a chair that unfolds into a mini bed and two CordaRoy's Bean Bags that will make up into full size floor beds.
Smaller kiddos will love the bunk bed in front of the Spaceship curtain that covers a small door to a mini play area.
The room also has a single bed and a full-size Futon that unfolds into a comfy bed. There is a standard futon mattress as well as a "feather bed" comforter that can be used on the futon to sleep on.
The unique wall mural of a fairy forest opens into a mini closet for little pretend tea parties and play.
Please be aware that renters are in the basement. Their entrance is from the walkout basement. The door between the house and basement is double bolt locked.
Quiet neighborhood
Smithfield is a small town. Parking in the winter is confined to 4 vehicles on the driveway specifically for Airbnb Guests. Parking on the street is prohibited due to snow removal.
Summer parking is located on the street and the driveway.
The UTA Bus comes from Logan giving access to both North and South Cache Valley if needed.
The basement is occupied by renters who are very quiet and have their own entrance. The door between the main floor and basement is locked from both sides and we are the only ones who can access it.
