Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats going to and from the island in the summer months. Kea has been called the Hidden Gem of the Cycladic islands, due its beautiful landscape, gorgeous sandy beaches and unique architecture.
The house is set in the the middle of Ioulida, the main town/village of the island, just a 5 minute walk from the main square. Please note: You will need to climb steps to get to the house. You can park at the bottom of Ioulida and then walk up to the main square.
The house has been completely renovated and is ideal for those that want to be in the center of town.
The apartment/maisonette is on the first floor of a private building. The main entrance to the apartment is from the ground floor, which leads to an internal staircase, as was the custom in the houses in Ioulida.
Outside the front door of the apartment there is an internal patio with a seating/dining area. In side there is an elegant all white living area with high ceilings that leads to an open-plan kitchen, with a dining area. Leading off the living room there are 2 bedrooms and one full bathroom.
