This tranquil location with amazing views of the Aveyron gorge offers the perfect retreat to relax and soak up the ambiance of rural France. A fantastic base for touring and yet only 10 minutes to shopping, restaurants, cafes and all the sporting and river activities such as canoeing and kayaking offered in St Antonin Noble Val.
This 18th Century renovated farmhouse offers tranquility and comfort and many onsite activities including the all important private swimming pool. It sleeps up to 8 + baby and offers comfortable accommodation for families or groups, of all sizes, sharing a holiday. The layout of the rooms, pan tiled veranda, walled courtyard, private pool and 5 acres of gardens and field provide plenty of space and privacy for all who visit. Surrounded by fields and woodland, this self catering holiday farmhouse/villa rental is the perfect setting for a spring, summer or early autumn getaway.
A special welcome to children of all ages awaits you at Blancou. There are a selection of toys and games for most age groups and in addition Blancou is an active small holding with geese (fenced in), chickens and depending on season ducks and turkeys. All our guests are welcome to help feed them or join in the daily walking of the geese to their field.
The accommodation consists of the farmhouse and an attached “Tower” and provides facilities for eight guests. The farmhouse is light, spacious and full of character and comprises of a large fully equipped kitchen and comfortable master sitting room, three bedrooms, a second sitting room, master bathroom and ensuite facilities for bedroom three. To the front of the farmhouse is a veranda which attaches to the Tower which sleeps a further two people ideal for grandparents or friends sharing a holiday. The tower provides self contained two storey accommodation - Upstairs is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Downstairs there is a kitchenette and sitting room area with fireplace.
To the rear of the farmhouse is a private walled courtyard. The veranda and courtyard are both ideal for BBQ’s and al fresco dining.
Fenced private pool (10x6) for exclusive use of the guests 1.4 m shallow end and 1.9 m deep end. Access is via a pool ladder. Large shady hangar for parking and a large gravelled drive ideal for playing boules.
There are plenty of sunbeds for everyone and parasols by the pool & veranda to protect from the sun. A selection of outdoor activities including boules, table tennis, table football, badminton & junior cricket are provided.
Inside, there is UK Satellite TV, as selection of games and well stocked bookcases featuring plenty of crime fiction and adventure novels. Free Wi-Fi access is provided.
Bed linen and towels (hand, bath and tea towels) provided and these are changed weekly. Guests are asked to provide their own pool towels.
Fresh produce: Fruit and vegetables are available from the garden for a small charge. Both are subject to season and availability. There are also a range of herbs around the property for your use.
Please nopte: We have had lots of guests with toddlers and small children stay at Blancou. Without exception, all have thoroughly enjoyed their holiday. To ensure that Blancou is the right location for all our guests we always point out that the property is an old farmhouse with stone steps in most rooms.

The Sunday market in St Antonin surpassed all others that we have encountered during many visits to France.
