Bold modern art is on display in each room in this Architects own home in this “hands down” favorite Denver neighborhood.
This fully remodeled single-family home with elegant furnishings is in the heart of one of Denver's most charming and historic neighborhoods, Park Hill. Tree-lined streets, friendly neighbors and great local restaurants just blocks away, and downtown just a quick 10 minute drive (or ~$10 Uber!). The home has two living areas, one on the main floor and one in the basement, perfect for entertaining or relaxing during your stay, as well as two fully appointed bedrooms, one on the basement level, each with its own bathroom.
A spacious, open kitchen is the heart of the house, with Wolf and Subzero appliances to bring out your inner chef (spacious fridge and freezer, 4-burner gas + 2 burner induction cooktop, oven + warming drawer). Though if you're no cook, we know some pros who can help, or instacart will deliver within the hour! ! A dining room with a mahogany table and seating for 8 connects the indoor living to the outdoor spaces via french doors – and with Colorado summers, you can leave the doors open without fear of bugs! A house-wide Sonos sound system carries your tunes from indoors to out, the back patio equipped with speakers.
The large backyard (really a third living room) boasts an elevated deck with plush outdoor couches in addition to an al fresco dining area, metal sculpture water wall feature, fire pit with comfy seating for 4 and soon a hydrotherapy tub! (Spring 2023)
The main-floor master bedroom features a Duxiana king size bed and smart TV with Roku and antenna for local broadcasts, and the bath includes a controlled-temperature frameless European glass shower and original (refurbished) clawfoot tub as well as a walk-in closet with laundry.
The basement area acts and an independent suite with its own living area, a smart tv, a second bedroom with a full size bed and a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower.
A section of yard is designated as an wildlife habitat to support our inner city birds, butterflies, dragon flies and other pollinators. You’ll enjoy waking to the sound of bird song and being immersed in nature yet close to all of Denvers attractions.
Street parking is easily available in front of the house.
The full home, Including all outdoor spaces is available for your use, exceptions being certain basement storage areas.
Though it rarely gets very hot in Denver and the nights can cool down to the 50's even in the summer we have a window unit in the bedroom and the living room for the occasional hot spell.
Denver residents for more than 25 years and and true foodies, we are happy to help with restaurant recommendations, etc. We are also available by phone should any issues arise while you’re staying in the home.
The house is equidistant from local shopping area Cherry Creek North and downtown Denver. It's walking distance to City Park, home of the Denver Museum of Natural History, the Denver Zoo, a public golf course, and a large lake for scenic strolls. Stately inner city neighborhood, tree lined streets and chef owned and operated restaurants within walking distance. Highly desirable neighborhood and a beautiful, professionally renovated Bungalow.
Street parking is amply available, a bus line is a half-block away, and Uber and Lyft are widely available in this neighborhood as well.
Highways are easily accessed from this central location, and the Denver Tech Center is easily reached via Monaco Parkway.
Park Hill is a stately inner city neighborhood with historic homes and tree lined streets. You can easily set off in any direction on foot and find a cozy coffee shop/bakery and owner operated restaurants. Our yard is designed as an additional living space for year round use. One section of the yard is designed and designated as a certified wildlife habitat for our inner city wildlife including many types of birds, hummingbirds, butterflies, dragon flies and other pollinators. Creating direct access to nature allows for a sense of peace as you wake to birdsong and experience the sights and sounds of a living urban garden.
