If you're yearning for the embrace of the great outdoors but the idea of pitching a tent has you hesitating, I've got just the solution for you. Imagine stepping into the heart of nature without the fuss of tent poles and stakes. Our Little Barn is your answer to a hassle-free outdoor experience, combining the essence of camping with the comforts of home.
The Little Barn provides a rustic cabin ambiance, complete with a cozy bed and a portable heater, eliminating the need for you to pack your own camping gear or tent. Please be sure to bring your own sleeping bag or bedding, as it's a straightforward cabin experience - think of it as camping in a room equipped with a heater and a comfortable bed or mattress.
The real highlight of this camping experience, however, is the beautiful setting at Oostema Farmstead. Situated on 117 acres of operating farm, guests can explore the farm's wagyu cows, chickens, pigs, as well as 55 acres of raspberry fields. And when you're ready to venture out, you'll find charming towns like Lynden and Bellingham nearby, with their specialty shops, restaurants, and cafes.

As the chilly winter season approaches, we're closely monitoring the weather conditions to determine the best time to keep our cozy barn cabin open during this season.

We operate an actual store located on the Farmstead Grounds. All our guests can purchase ahead via our store website – enjoy home-grown eggs, sausage, bacon, Wagyu beef, and other delicious meats to cook up while visiting with us or to take home.

🌟𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗻: Though the Barn stands alone, it is part of the shared space on the Farm. Enjoy watching us work in the garden and around the Farm and interacting with other guests at the small, intimate Campground and RVs during peak season (Summer).
🌟𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐛: Available year-round, our soothing hot tub can be booked after you confirm your stay for a fee. It's located at the back of our farmhouse and is exclusively for our guests. Once your reservation is confirmed, you can easily pick a time through the calendar link in the confirmation emails we'll send you.
🌟𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Under 18's cannot be accommodated on the Farmstead. It is a working farm and children/babies, machinery and animals don’t mix well!
