Turquoise Haze has been meticulously renovated to bring comfort and beauty to our guests. As you walk in through the front door, your eyes will trail through the condo to the sliding glass doors leading to the turquoise and deep blue horizon. Once on the balcony, you will discover the only condo with an intimate seating area comprised of a large outdoors couch, two armchairs and a cocktail table perfect for conversations or to read a book while you inhale the clear crisp air and relax! There is also a dining table and four chairs for alfresco dining with a view of the iconic Caribbean Sea. You will enjoy the most spectacular sunrises with your cup of coffee from this balcony. In the evenings you can also catch a glipmse of the setting sun in the Northwest horizon from this balcony due to its singular corner location. There is still more to discover as you go back inside the condo. You will love the abundance of light, height of the ceiling and airiness that the condo offers from the corner of the second and upper floor. There is no third floor so our guests will not hear steps or rolling chairs from up above as it is the case on bottom floor condos. Turquoise Haze boasts three extra-large new double pane windows and new wall to wall double pane sliding glass doors with views of the Caribbean Sea and the Northwest horizon. Turquoise Haze’s unique location provides the best views and most natural light of all condos in Castaway Coves.In the kitchen, you will not mind washing dishes from the new kitchen undermount sink in the evenings as you catch a glimpse of the setting sun. It is an experience that this condo offers at every sunset. You will love the sparkling quartzite kitchen countertop with its waterfall effect. There is seating at the kitchen peninsula and plenty of space to set up your laptop or special dishes for your gourmet meals. The kitchen appliances are all high end, high efficiency, and new Frigidaire Gallery brand. You will be able to bake, convection bake, boil, broil, roast and even air fry with the new glass top, stainless steel stove and oven. The microwave doubles up as an oven. So technically there are two ovens in the kitchen. You will be able to bake a pie and bake a ham from this kitchen with ease, saving you time to enjoy the beach a little longer. The new washer/dryer combination is front load and so quiet that you will forget you were doing your laundry. The new dishwasher is also very quiet and has a large interior capacity with a pullout shelf for those odd-sized serving spoons, serving forks and spatulas. The kitchen is also equipped with high end small appliances such as Keurig for the perfect cup of coffee and a Ninja for delicious smoothies and mixed drinks. The combined dining and living areas provide ample seating for guests to spread out. The downlights and lamps in the living room will provide extra lighting for reading messages on your cell phone or comfortably reading a book on any of the couches. Most other condos do not have the extra four downlights and are dimly lit. The new Monte Carlo fan in the living room is quiet and provides air control in both directions. There are two twin size Murphy beds in the living room for extra sleeping accommodation. The condo also comes with fast speed WIFI and most ample selection of cable channels for three TV sets. You will be able to watch American Sports games from the comfort of the condo instead of having to go to the bar. You will love the newly renovated Spa-like bathrooms. They are the most renovated and modern bathrooms in Castaway Coves. The tiled tub enclosures and vanities boast the impressive Italian craftmanship that has become popular with high end boutique hotels. You will also be able to soak in the sleek rectangular tub or take a shower. A new electric water heater was installed for on the demand hot water. The master bedroom is spacious; has an elegant Monte Carlo fan and light fixture; soft and cool cotton linens on a king-size bed; thick mattress topper; new double pane sliding glass doors with black-out curtains and sound block for the perfect sleep; and all the storage space you will need. The master bedroom also includes a desk and chair next to the sliding glass doors which provides ample natural light and an amazing view as you work or answer emails in the privacy of your own space. The WIFI speed will allow you to work away from home or office. The secondary bedroom is located at the other end of the condo with access to the hallway bathroom. This bedroom has very similar attributes as those of the master bedroom including a Monte Carlo fan and light fixture, ample storage, soft and cool linens on a queen size bed, foam mattress topper, safe, black-out curtains over new Zebra blinds and double pane window for the perfect sleep.
As a guest of Turquoise Haze, you will have access to the many activities and amenities provided by the Wyndham Reef Hotel. The activities are perfect for families and couples to join in. This week we participated in two yoga stretch classes; played Beach Bar Bingo and Name That Tune; fed the fish with the kiddos; took salsa lessons and sang our favorite karaoke songs. There are so many more activities such as water aerobics, driftwood painting, corn hole competition, musical chairs, shuffleboard tournament, and basketball H-O-R-S-E for our guests to participate in. The Wyndham also has friendly concierges who can assist you in booking water excursions or a rental car; guide you to other parts of the island; sign you up for the weekly shopping in town for a nominal fee; make reservations at the Tides Restaurant for the Magic Dinner show or Paint and Sip event, and assist you with any other request. Do not miss the delectable buffets, daily Happy Hours, live music, and Sunday marketplace. I also love to get up early in the morning to hit the gym before everyone wakes up. There are several machines, weights, and mat space to workout every muscle. The pool area is inviting and refreshing and it is just steps away from our condo. As a guest of Turquoise Haze, you will have access to the resort pools, tennis court and gym. If you need some pampering or self-care, I recommend the Spa! The massages are divine. The Spa offers a varied selection of massages including hot stone, deep tissue, facials, combination of different types of massages and you can add the jacuzzi and champagne as a couple. The Spa estheticians can also schedule a fabulous manicure and pedicure.
From Turquoise Haze, you will be directly across the street from Foster’s Grocery Store, Jacques Scott’s Spirits and Liquor Store, Red Sails Souvenirs Store, The Italian Kitchen, and Andy’s Rental Cars office. Once you are in Turquoise Haze, you will not need to drive into town to buy groceries, a cute bathing suit or cover-up! The shopping strip is only steps from our front door.
