The Trévou-Tréguignec coastline has many sensitive areas described by Professor Jean-Pierre Pinot in his book La Gestion du littoral2. The professor studied a set of “comet tails” characteristic of the coast of Treviso. A comet tail is an accumulation of sediment in a sheltered position behind a reef, an islet or an island.
