A refuge away from the rhythm of everyday life
In the heart of the Cérou valley, 5 minutes from Cordes sur Ciel. Come and discover the tranquility of the Tarn countryside in Peyret. A House of character of 1801 which can welcome up to 14 people on a hectare of sported ground, a swimming pool, a gym and a ground of petanque.
Having space is essential on vacation. Our building of 350 square meters consists of 3 levels with 2 bedrooms per floor and 5 bathrooms. Two large lounges / dining rooms on the ground floor and 2 spacious outdoor terraces.
All on one hectare of land.
In the South West, bathing is mandatory, play petanque too. The temperate water of the pool will delight you during the hot summer days and a large petanque court will allow you to taste the oldest tradition of the South (balls and molky provided). A fully equipped gym is equipped with a sauna to relax after the exercises. For amateurs, many board games, books, comics are available as well as a large DVD library for your evenings.
The house is ideal for sharing with friends and family. Large tables, sofa corners can accommodate your aperitifs, meals, games and discussions of all kinds. But being able to rest, read or work in peace is important during group vacations. That's why each floor has a small additional seating area for more tranquility and a first floor office.

Stone house of 1801 of 350 m2.
It consists of 6 bedrooms: 4 bedrooms with double bed and 2 bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed. Three private shower rooms, 1 shower room shared between 2 bedrooms and an additional bathroom. The house consists of 4 toilets.
The ground floor consists of 2 large spaces. The first in the West is part of the original building with stone wall and exposed beams. It consists of a TV lounge and a large dining table. Separated by an old open fireplace equipped with a modern wood stove. It gives access to a spacious terrace with a large round table in the shade of a chestnut tree.
The second space is the modern part of the house, high ceiling room, very bright with exposed beams. It consists of a large kitchen (oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher), a small bar with 3 high chairs, a large dining table and a lounge area equipped with an audio system. The room has access to a large sun terrace with a table and pool access.
Each floor has a small additional living room, ideal for finding a little tranquility. For those who want to work, an office is available on the first floor. On the ground floor, an additional patio with a small table (ideal for board games) is the link between the 2 terraces of the house.
EQUIPMENT:
In addition to the wood stove, the house has a central heating system and air conditioning equips many rooms and rooms.
The pool is 10 m X 5 m, treated with chlorine. It has a certified swimming pool shelter.
The house is equipped with Wifi with a good connection. The thickness of the walls does not allow for quality coverage of the entire house at the same time. Nevertheless being a 4G system, the box can be moved to any place of the house if needed.
A gym was set up in a barn on the first floor. Equipped with a bike, an elliptical, a treadmill, a rowing machine and an inversion table. To relax, there is the sauna. For 4 people maximum, it has a simple and secure system of use.
A laundry room is installed on the same floor, with washing machine and indoor and outdoor clothes rack.
Each floor has a library. Encyclopedias, novels, comics or children's stories. The higher you climb, the lower the reading age.
A closet board game is on the ground floor: cards, tarot, failure, Monopoly, trivial pursues, etc. You have access to more than 20 types of games for different ages or numbers of people.
For those who are not reading or playing table games, there is always the television (140cm wall screen, national channels) with a collection of more than 300 DVDs. From Disney classics to James Bond, from comedy to drama, discover or rediscover the classics of cinema.
And of course, the garden. A hectare of land, with a large flat area for football games and a large petanque (12x6) with 2 shaded benches. Perfect for an aperitif.

Ropes on sky, medieval heritage
5 minutes by car, 20 minutes by bike, 1 hour on foot. Bastide built in 1222. Popular tourist site, large site of Midi-Pyrénées, it is a stage of the pilgrimage of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. Cordes sur ciel was voted "favorite French village" in 2014.
Gaillac, around the Wine
25 minutes by car. Gaillac is the oldest vineyard in France going back to the Gauls. With more than 110 wineries around Gaillac, and many tastings, enjoy a unique wine experience.
The bike Tarn
With more than 2,000 kilometers of marked trails, the Tarn is a favorite destination for mountain bikers.
Beginners and experts will be served thanks to a variety of routes marked out by the French Cycling Federation, maintained and secured to meet the needs of hikers.

Our cottage is located 5km from Cordes sur Ciel, less than an hour from Toulouse by the A68 motorway (exit Gaillac) and 25 minutes from Albi.
By train
Train station on Albi, Gaillac, Carmaux, or directly at the station of Cordes-Vindrac by the line Toulouse-Cahors.
By plane
The best airport is Toulouse Blagnac at 1h10min by car. With many lines and a varied car rental service. Rodez (1h10) and Carcassonne (2h) are also options with some low-cost lines.
