With the sound of the nearby stream waters joining the chorus of bird song, this historic stone cottage retains many original features. French doors in the bedroom open out over the Devon fields, and a kingsize bed and roll-top bath add to the luxury. Downstairs, the cosy open-plan living area and Smart TV, also features a wood burner, perfect for a winters evening. The living space looks out over a private lawned garden, perfect to enjoy a sundowner. In 1894, the pioneer rose-growing rector planted roses around every door. This small village is famous for the stunning church Parish of St John the Baptist.
