The popular market town of Wolsingham, 4 miles, boasts some excellent quality restaurants, pubs, cafes and bistros, where local produce is served daily. Today, Wolsingham is still a small market town looking much as it did hundreds of years ago with many stone built buildings, period features and links to its long history. It is now a thriving town which is very popular as a stopping off point for guests visiting the Weardale Valley.
