Hidden in the mountains on a 2,159 sqm parcel of land with your own direct access to a spring fed creek, it is conveniently located just 3 minutes to a major shopping centre, 10 minutes to Cairns CBD and 14 minutes to Cairns Airport!
Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac you will be immediately captured by the unique style and design of the home. With curves in the right places and distinctive features taking your breath away, the architectural design of this home showcases the treehouse-style which defines this bespoke abode.
Spread across three descending levels, you will find remarkable craftsmanship and thoughtful use of space throughout. In the heart of the top level of the home is the fully equipped chef’s kitchen which adjoins the large open plan living area . The top floor living space also includes a designated indoor dining area which seamlessly flows through to the entertainer’s balcony.
The entertainer’s balcony is the ultimate relaxation space which will have you screaming WOW! Canvas shades, angled high ceilings and with you nestled in the treetops, this space is hypnotic.

Résumé: Cons: see below if you want to know more Pros: good location for Cairns and shopping; wonderful siting within the fringe of the rainforest; appealing property with attractive, main living area Cons: not clean enough; very poor service; snakes; large spiders; ants, and; a single cockroach - within internal and external living quarters So... the web site indicated an enhanced cleaning regime but when we arrived it was grubby, with: hand marks on the fridge, dried toothpaste in the bathroom sink and a can, seemingly used as an ashtray, in the bedroom area. Ants were across the kitchen countertops, throughout our stay, swarmed the kitchen bins every morning and swarmed the bathtub once. There were no washing up materials and there was no 'house operating manual'. The (only) broken toilet was reported on our second day but never repaired. A two meter web (with accompanying hand sized spider) was left, spanning part of the main deck. A freshly shed snake skin appeared on the same deck, on our second day. A one meter+ sized snake (possibly, dangerously venomous) was hanging by the front door on our last evening. It relocated only 5 feet away when we disturbed it Much of this was reported real time to the property agents but they did nothing other than offer profuse apologies and platitudes, after we left. The owner told us the agents were responsible for cleaning. The agents told us the owner was responsible. We asked for a partial refund on the cleaning surcharge but this was refused. So dissatisfied, we made formal complaint to Vrbo. We have stayed in over 50 places in our 4 month travels around Australia. All have been good to excellent. This was measurably the worst
