Masseria Bosco Colombo for Rent with Swimming Pool is an ancient fortified structure with a tower dating back to the 16th century, which counted the prince of Francavilla, Francesco Imperiale among its owners, and at the beginning of the 1600s it hosted the marine poet Giovan Francesco Maia Materdona. Expertly restored, after decades of neglect, its original beauty has been restored and it has been equipped with all the comforts for a luxury holiday in Salento. It can accommodate up to 12 people. Located in the heart of Puglia, it is just a few minutes from the Adriatic and Ionian seas.
The Masseria can accommodate up to 12 people, divided into 3 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, two double sofa/beds. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, wi-fi internet connection, finely chosen furnishings, designer beds specially designed by one of the most renowned architectural firms in Italy, high quality mattresses able to guarantee absolute. Full optional 5-burner professional kitchen, including oven, fridge, dishwasher, pantry, Nespresso machine,large indoor dining room for 12 people with lounge area/seating area.
The structure is divided into two levels, a ground floor and a first floor (La Torre) where all the bedrooms with bathrooms are located:
Tower Suite:It is located on the first floor of the Torre della Masseria, and is characterized by a double bedroom with private bathroom, relaxation area with sofa/double bed and has access to two private terraces. It can accommodate up to 4 people. It is equipped with air conditioning in each room.
Double room:N.2 Rooms with double beds equipped with furniture, private bathroom with shower. It is equipped with air conditioning in each room.
Double sofa bed:
Sofa-TV area that turns into a comfortable sofa/bed with wardrobe and air conditioning.
Bedroom for two people:
Room for two people with bunk bed. Private bathroom with shower, washing machine. Immediately outside the bedroom there is an additional bathroom which can be used almost exclusively. It is equipped with air conditioning.
Around the Masseria, surrounded by nature but protected by a private fence, there is a garden area of about 4,000 square meters. The cleaning and management of the garden is guaranteed by the staff. 15 x5 meter swimming pool equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, shaded area, solarium, shower and changing room, large gazebos for outdoor lunches and dinners, barbecue area.
The Masseria is surrounded by over 5 hectares of property in which there are an ancient vineyard and a young one, secular and young olive trees, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, mulberries, prickly pears and above all fig trees (called 'culummu'). which gives its name to the district (Columbus comes from 'Culummu'). In some months of the year (October, September) it is possible to watch the olive or grape harvest, while in the other months the staff who ensure the management of the surrounding land will be able to offer, based on availability, natural products from our garden.
