My wife and I have been on VRBO with our first property "Happy Wife" VRBO# 1050898 since 2017 and although we did not expect it we found the managing of the home to be rewarding both in the fact it is an activity we do together and because of all of the wonderful people we have met along the way. A quick look at the "Happy Wife" will show that with 69 reviews and a 5 star rating that we are very serious about providing a fantastic vacation experience.
Recently purchased home on Smith Mountain Lake with a long list of amenities ... perfect for summer vacation at the lake! Plenty of parking and room enough for a boat trailer!
Located at the end of a Cul-de-sac in Goodview VA this home ("Happy Life") is a perfect compliment to our other VRBO rental "Happy Wife". The home is located on the main channel and we absolutely love to watch the boats go by all day long yet, because of the way the dock is situated relative to the channel there is plenty of safe space for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and ... well exploring. The dock is huge with an upper level that is in the sun all day long and then a lower level with a 12' x 12' floating dock that is perfect for swimming and fishing. Standing in the main level it is possible to have a view of the lake over what is almost 180 degrees are one turns toward the kitchen with the many windows present. The entire lower level of the home has been recently finished and furnished to provide a wonderfully comfortable setting for a perfect getaway with friends and family.
The home has a total of 8 beds including a king bed in the main level master, a pair of bunk beds on the main level in the kids room, and another with a queen. The terrace level features two more king beds. There are a total of four bathrooms a full and 3/4 bath on the main level and two 3/4 baths on the terrace level.
The living area on the main level includes a 50" smart TV and the living area on the terrace level includes a 55" smart TV both of which are set up with xfinity cable service. The home includes blazing fast wireless internet at over 200 Mb/sec.
