An Upscale Villa with Pool that is nestled on a private hillside acre on the northern slope of Martineau Hill on the unspoiled island of Vieques, with 180 degree views of the Atlantic Ocean, Puerto Rico and Culebra. The house is designed to combine indoor and outdoor living, having 3800 square feet of interior living space with high ceilings, lots of windows and great tropical breezes. The entrance level contains a large foyer, 2 guest bedroons, family room, laundry room and full bath. A center staircase takes you up to the second level foyer that leeds to an open living room and dining room with adjacent kitchen, den with TV, 3 guest bedrooms and 2 baths. The dining room and master bedroom open on to a large comfortable balcony for relaxation and great views.
In addition, located on the lower level, there is an additional 2000 sq. ft of covered outdoor living & pool where you can have cocktails, cook a meal and dine, or just relax reading a book. The Pool is located adjacent to this area.
The interior is decorated in comfortable Caribbean elegance with all modern conveniences. The house is fully equipped with all new furniture, appliances, linens, beach chairs, towels and just about anything else that you may need. Just bring your clothes, CDs & DVDs and books.
Journey's End is located mid island between Espiranza and Isabel II with a short drive to pristine beaches.
Vieques is the Caribbean as it was 50/60 years ago with crystal clear waters, numerous sandy beaches where often you are the only people there. Definitely the place to get away from it all. Vieques is unique in that 70% of the island is in the U. S. Fish and Wild Life Preserve. The island is 22 miles long by 4 miles wide with a population of 9,000.

Résumé: 2 words: JUST GO! The entire process was simple form beginning to end. Bob (owner) and Karen (property mgr) answered every question and ensured a perfect, relaxing getaway in an excellently appointed, very spacious island villa. You'll want for nothing during your stay. We prepared meals for 11 with ease both in the kitchen and outdoor patio area. The kids loved the pool while the adults sipped beverages and took in the beautiful view of the Atlantic and the main land. Huge, air conditioned bedrooms, outdoor showers, island breeze, what more could you ask for! Plenty of beach chairs on site which was a nice addition while enjoying the most private. scenic beaches I've ever seen. Truly an untouched, natural island. Locals are friendly and helpful if you have questions. The two towns, Isabel and Esperanza are a very short drive from the property and worth spending time in to really get a feel for the island's culture.
