It is one of the most unique and historic Luxury Villas on the shore, a 3 year renovation, finished in 2009, has restored the full artful splendor of 1772 while adding modern conveniences such as air conditioning, elevator, full gym, yoga studio, hispeed internet and outdoor swimming pool. Antique pieces of furniture, fresco ceilings and antique Mosaico and Marble flooring perfectly match with the modern style amenities. In walking distance to the Medieval center of Como, the villa benefits of a tranquil setting very handy to navigations, restaurants and shops, car hire would only be an option, in fact the main station to Milan or Lugano is about 10 minutes walking. The airport in Milan Malpensa is 45 min. drive distance. The villa is surrounded by a 3000 sq. mt. lake front garden where a new swimming pool has just been completed. Indoor air conditioning and an 8 person lift has been installed and staff, living in a separate house, is provided.

The back gate opens onto the famous "Passeggiata Villa Olmo" on the water 5 Stair steps descend from the backyard into the boathouse and the lake. The entire garden is surrounded by stone walls and hedges 10 ft in height for optimal privacy.
