Once a fisherman’s cottage, Lakeview Cottage has since been refurbished into a cozy holiday home that has retained plenty of its original charm. With truly spectacular views from all vantage points, this property is a picture-perfect place to kick back and relax.
The Space:
The property boasts three bedrooms, each with built-in robes, with a queen bed, double bed, and set of bunk beds to choose from. With a split-system air-conditioner in the living room and main bedroom, as well as fans in each of the remaining bedrooms, the Lakeview Cottage is built for holidays all year round.
You’ll love the cottage’s traditional charm, including the original kitchen layout, high ceilings, natural light, and impeccably kept wooden floors. The perfect intersection of old and new, you’ll be amazed by how the cottage’s historical features blend in seamlessly with its modern updates. The kitchen is a prime example of this, with its refurbished bench tops and modern appliances, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, milkshake maker, blender, and coffee pod machine, settled alongside the vintage cabinetry and exposed brick finishings of the original kitchen setting.
The front deck of the cottage turns into your own private lookout over the sparkling waters of Lake Budgewoi, the prime place for a morning coffee or an afternoon of reading. You can also retreat to the cottage’s peaceful sunroom and continue to take in the incredible views, no matter what the weather has in store. You will also love the extra entertaining area at the back of the cottage, perfect for drinks and nibbles, which run onto the cottage’s lush backyard. The cottage also includes a fully functioning laundry, complete with a washing machine and dryer, and an outside clothesline for convenience. Onsite parking is also available during your stay.

Air Con: The air conditioner in the lounge room is not functioning and has not been for many years. To ensure you can stay nice and cool in summer and warm in winter we have installed a large & powerful air conditioner in the front sunroom, it has the capacity to heat or cool both rooms and works perfectly.
Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Strictly no parties or gatherings are to be held in this property. Any breach of these regulations may result in eviction without a refund of the remaining funds or deposit.
Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travelers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. Travelers under the age of 23 that are traveling with a family group with a parent are more then welcome to stay with us.
Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions.
