Welcome to this new, spacious and modern 2 stories Villa, located 200m from the beach and only 800 metres East from the Malecon Tradicional in Progreso! It iS a pet friendly property, but extra charges shall apply for a deep cleaning, sorry about it. This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom villa is sure to impress and will provide you all the space you need to have an unforgettable holiday. With a very good location in Progreso, this Villa is well situated so that you can enjoy all that Progreso has to offer, such as restaurants, shops, and only a short 200 metres to the beach. The large bedrooms, and terraces, the well stocked kitchen and comfortable outdoor seating with private swimming-pool are some of the key features of the beautiful villa.
The Space:
From the moment you walk through the front door, you will be impressed by the amount of space this villa has to offer. The large living room with an open kitchen concept is just off the entrance and has lots of cupboards, closets, a gas stove, and everything you'll need to cook up a gourmet meal!
In front of the kitchen, you'll find the dining area with a large table and space for 6 with two additional seats at the sit-up bar. This will be the place to gather around a nice meal after a long day to recount the day{s events and laugh over all the memories made, while enjoying a very cold drink. The dining space is open to the sitting area with a very large TV (Roku channels) and comfy seating. From here, you can see out onto the outdoor terrace with private pool, through the dual sliding doors. Out on the terrace, there is a table and chairs for 4, there are 2 sun loungers, and a great view of the pool.
On the main floor, you'll also find the first bedroom, the Master one with en-suite bathroom. With King Size bed and attached full bathroom, this is perfect place for a couple or those with mobility issues. This bedroom also has direct access to the pool, through sliding doors.
On this main floor, you'll find the second bedroom. In this large room with high ceilings, there are two individual beds, lots of closet space and outside the door there is the 2nd full bathroom with walk-in shower and stone counter tops.
Lastly, the 3rd bedroom is on the second floor and will be your oasis of privacy, as it was built as an independent unit, with its own bathroom and a small kitchenette. The first thing you'll notice is how large the space is. There is a Queen sized bed, a flat screen smart tv and high ceilings creating a large open feel. Just off the kitchenette, there is a sliding door, opening onto a large terrace with seating for two. With a view of the pool below, this a great place to enjoy morning coffee or unwind after a long day with evening cocktails. Feeling tense after a long day at the beach? Head into this bedroom upstairs, where you'll find all the silence and privacy needed to recharge your batteries. There is also a walk-in shower for your comfort and great stone counters.
Just one more floor up from this unit's terrace, there is the Rooftop where also the barbecue is located. From here, you can enjoy some sea views over the Golf of Mexico.
However, once you feel like going out, you are 800 metres, walking distance to historic Malecon Tradicional - The Tradicional Boardwalk with all of its restaurants, beach clubs, shops and bars, also with the newly inaugurated 'Museo del Meteorito' - The Meteorite Muesum and a newly built Food Court with lots of cuisines on display, a definite "must do". Want to head over to the beach? That is only 200 metres or 2 blocks away. All in all, this villa is ideally situated for you to enjoy all aspects of Progreso. It also offers 2 parking spots inside the property and 1 bycicle.
Guest Access:
Guest will have access to the entire villa except for 1 storage closet. The kitchen comes complete with all of the cooking ware you'll need, dishes, cutlery, etc.
The Neighborhood:
The Villa is placed at a 3-4 minutes bike ride from the Centro of Progreso. So we suggest you use the bike if you don't like to walk. However, if you enjoy walking on the beach towards the Malecon of Progreso, it is just a 800 metres walk, basically a few minutes away.
Getting Around:
You'll have no issues finding a taxi or public transportation outisde the villa. You can also walk to nearly everything.
Other Things to Note:
● Your payment is managed by the platform, we do not get the payout until your reservations starts. Any doubts regarding payment please reach the platform.
● ** Electricity costs are extremely high in Mexico. It is already included in the payment of your stay, however, we always recommend responsible use of electricity, especially AC.** The villa has solar panels, which helps a lot maintaining the monthly electricity bill low. However, the bookings for more than 2 weeks stay shall pay the electricity at cost, based on the 2 readings of the electricity meter.
● Please notice we only provide toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap at arrival, after that you must buy as you need.We provide 1 bath towel and 1 beach towel per person on the reservation and 1 kitchen cloth.
● It is important to mention that you are responsible for the use of the bycicle and for its integrity.
