"Pacific Pearl" is a low-set near new house set in a large garden surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants right on the beach. All yours, 3 bedrooms, massive wheel-chair friendly en-suite, bathroom, separate toilet right on kilometres of dog friendly beach. Protected by Fraser Island, this is a very safe beach with calm waters ideal for swimming, SUP's, kayaks, fishing, children and dogs. Your furry friends are welcome inside and we provide 2 stainless steel bowls and dog towels. The yard is completely fenced with colourbond and timber fencing all around the property. The house was built with guests with mobility issues in mind and the en-suite has an open shower and all internal doors are 92cm and external doors from every room are sliding doors onto the patio that surrounds the house on all 4 sides. The 860sqm property is fully fenced and welcomes dogs. Situated right on the beach you have a path through 50m of native bushland to the sand and the tranquillity of this place is just unbeatable. Toogoom means "Place of Rest" and that's what "Pacific Pearl" is all about: relax, enjoy, unwind. Toogoom is a quiet neighbourhood with a corner shop/ take away, chemist, hair dresser and postal outlet 500m from the house. The boat ramp at Beelbi Creek and two beautiful restaurants (Goody's and Salty Squid) are 2.5 km away. You can walk there along the beach, rest at the community park and playground on the way or try the Nature Reserve at O'Regans Creek. Shellcot Street is a 'local traffic only' 40kmh street and very quiet. 12 minutes drive to major shopping centers with Woolworths, newsagent, butcher, bakery, medical centre, chemist, petrol station, dollar shop, take away etc. and 15m into the heart of Hervey Bay. Enjoy everything the bay and Fraser Island have to offer (you'll find a shelf full of tourist information brochures, updated regularly). All three bedrooms have their own reverse cycle air-conditioning unit, a large window plus a sliding door to a patio, air-conditioning in open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, microwave/convection oven /grill, dishwasher, filtered water from tap, 2 sofas, DLUG, laundry with front loader and clothes dryer, 2 TV's, DVD player and a selection of movies, 2 CD players/ radio, desk, board games, outdoor games (Bocce, Frisbee, Totem Tennis), outdoor shower for after the beach, sunscreen provided, doggy towels, 2 stainless steel dog bowls, backyard large enough for tent if necessary, all windows tinted against the glare.
Closest big supermarkets close at 5pm on Saturdays so you may want to do an online Coles / Woolworths order and have it delivered to the house.
