This lovely cozy guesthouse in Friesland has a double bed and is perfect for a couple looking to get away from it all together. On the beautifully situated terrace you can smell the fresh air and start your vacation days relaxing in the sun. Here you have fantastic views over the meadows, and you experience the typical vastness, meadows, cows and nature which is so typical of Friesland.
The tranquility of the countryside and the convenience of the city is its major attraction. You will stay in the Frisian village of Lekkum, a small village 2 km from Leeuwarden. Ideal if you want to discover the beautiful capital of Friesland! Furthermore, there is a lake 500 m from the house, and you can fish 300 m away. Of course, you can also walk, cycle and water sports in the area. The famous Elfstedenfietsroute starts about 50 m from the guesthouse. There are many restaurants where you can try new regional and international cuisines. A visit to Aqua Zoo 3 km away is also possible.
The guesthouse has a small kitchen, a cozy living and bedroom and a separate luxury bathroom with shower. Outside in the garden you can relax with a good book on the garden furniture. The house offers parking for the car, and you can charge your electric bike. Breakfast on the terrace is possible on request. The terrace was completely renewed in Sept 2022 and also inside everything has been updated again.
Also, in the evening you can eat with the pot for a small amount. In the evening, guests can also enjoy a small, home-cooked meal by the owner who is a cooking enthusiast. The guesthouse is also equipped with heating and an infrared heater in the bathroom making it comfortable to stay in even during the winter months.
Only small dogs are allowed at this accommodation.
