The complex consists of four adjacent holiday homes, imbedded in a setting of meadows and forests and offers amazing views over the nearby mountains. The spacious 44 hectare property houses the holiday homes, as well as the ruins of an old manor home, developed by the Cathar people. It is located at the foothills of the Pyrenees, southwest of Carcassonne in the inland of the Languedoc-Roussillon.
The complex consists of one larger and three small holiday homes, each of which offers many amenities for a relaxing holiday. The houses can be rented individually or as a group. This makes this property appealing for family vacations, as well as seminars, holidays for a sport team or a company, workshops in a natural setting and generally for everybody who is looking for a little piece of heaven. The largest house with 240 m², atraveo-Nr. 633790, can accommodate a total of eleven guests in four bedrooms. Atraveo Nr. 863596 (130 m²) and 863603 (125 m²) each can accommodate up to five people in two bedrooms. These two houses are at opposite ends of the property. Make the decision based on which view you prefer from your patio: the view of the Pyrenees (atraveo-Nr. 863596) or the forest (atraveo-Nr. 863603).
The vicinity offers many beautiful options for day trips - during summer, as well as during the winter months. If you are a fan of nature, you will enjoy the numerous hiking, bicycling and mountain bike trails in the area. Motorbike tours, wild water rafting, skiing and extended bicycle trails - it is all here. Love to swim? Enjoy the clear waters and boat rental (11km) or the Mediterranean beaches within an hour's drive. Hungry for culture? Head to Mirepoix (20km) or Limoux (23km) for the carnival. This holiday house is located at the end of a property and is surrounded by a patio in front of and at the side of the house. The house boasts two bedrooms with single beds. The first bedroom is furnished with two adjacent single beds for two people and the second bedroom can accommodate three people in three single beds. Additionally, it also offers an antique mirrored wardrobe for storage of your luggage, as well as two windows overlooking the surrounding meadows and forest. Both bedrooms have an adjacent private bathroom. The first bathroom boasts a bathtub and a shower with an integrated seat and the second bathroom is equipped with a shower tub with a shower stall. Additionally, each bathroom boasts a toilet and a sink and is naturally lit. At the heart of the house is the charming and spacious open spaced living, dining and kitchen area, furnished with high end solid wood furniture. The living room is furnished with a three and a two seater sofa and an armchair. You will also find a television with satellite receiver. The open plan kitchen area on the other side of the room consists of a fully equipped kitchen unit. The refrigerator (with an 80l freezer compartment), oven, ceran stove and several small appliances, including a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee maker enable you to prepare all your meals comfortably. There are two dining tables: one is adjacent to the kitchen and the other one is on the patio, which is accessible from the house.
On the patio, there is a round dining table with plenty of chairs with armrest, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Enjoy the Mediterranean sun under the sun shade and the reclining chairs. From the patio you have nice views over the natural surroundings.
