This impeccably designed brand new, modern home sits on a private mountain top perch and offers captivating 180-degree views of the Rosario Straight, Mount Baker, and the Cascades from every room.
The craft of Seattle architect Krannitz Kent found a stunning way to build Northwest contemporary design onto island rock with perfect positioning-sunrise over the Cascades to the East and streaks of sunset through the trees to the Southwest. Take it all in with a glass of fine Washington State wine, nestled around the large custom firepit on the main deck, or from the guest bedroom's private balcony.
Floor-to-ceiling windows greet you from the great room through to the master and guest bedrooms and flood the rooms with light. Through marine and forest views you'll see bald eagles soar, ships a sail, birds dance, and wildlife greets you from a distance. The beauty is, that architecture never interrupts your connection with nature.
Cantilevered over the rock from side-to-side, Glorious Place appears to be floating from every room, magnifying the depth of the views of water and forest vistas: a floating separate master wing and guest wing afford ultimate privacy. You can even stroll under the home via a bridge created by the cantilevered guest wing to the grounds below for a stroll around the five acres.
In-floor radiant heat keeps you snug, as do the fireplaces in the great room and master suite and a firepit on the main deck. Breezes flow from screened windows and sliding glass doors throughout to keep cool during the warmer months.
The towering ceiling heights create a true great room that has been furnished with contemporary but comfortable furniture lines such as Della Robbia seating areas- including oversized swivel chairs for conversation or daydreaming to the views- and Kube library table for dining, reading, gaming, or a laptop moment. Yes, Italian and Scandinavian furniture lines can be as comfortable as they are cool.
Premium fit and finishes show throughout, from surfaces to rugs that give color and comfort to the polished concrete floors. Oversized showers are featured in the master and guest, Jack and Jill bathroom, as well as a Victoria and Albert soaking tub with a view. A generous master dresser is provided along with ample closet space in every bedroom and entry.
Professional Monogram kitchen fit for a chef is well equipped with Sur La Tab and Williams Sonoma, including Scanpan cookware, and is fully stocked with seasonings. The large kitchen island can be home to conversation, Happy Hour, group meal prep, or seating for five.
Sony's latest 4k smart TVs with premium sound are featured in the great room and master. Megaboom portable speakers can be accessed via Bluetooth with your own playlist- indoors and out.

We chose the location for the feeling it gives you from the moment you pull into the circular drive, enter the home, and are greeted by Mt. Baker and the glistening waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Please note: Our mountain top getaway requires a bit of a hike up the road to the home. We highly recommend having an all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicle. Please do not attempt in a two-wheel drive vehicle- it's a small price to be in a Glorious Place!
